This is the meisterverk of Joseph A Schumpter. I was turned onto this Austrian economist by Mark Frost, one of my professors at UT Dallas. This is some heavily philosophical stuff. It is definitely something you will want to read more than once. Schumpeter's analysis of Capitalism and Socialism is thorough and even entertaining.

This is my favorite book by the venerable monk from Vietnam who is perhaps my favorite teacher of all. Nhat Hanh was nominated for the Nobel Peaced Prize by Dr. Martin Luther King and continues to work in a retreat community in France where he writes on the subject of Mindfulness and Buddhist/Christian dialog. This book changed my life.

This is above all, the finest book on knowing yourself that I have ever read. This book is the closest in history to selling as many copies as the bible! There is a good reason for that. Give yourself a gift and read (and re-read) this great book.
