BEING A LIST OF GRIEVANCES AND SOLUTIONS AGAINST THOSE ENTITIES THAT ACT TO CONTROL ALL PERSONS IN THE GEOPOLITICAL AREA KNOWN AS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
It is written in famous documents, and taught in our schools that
America was founded to provide a place that persons could live in a state
of Freedom and Liberty.
In these the last years of the twentieth century, there are many living
in this place that would live under this original aim and condition.
Let us define liberty, and list those conditions that are antithetical
to this desired state.
DEFINITION: Liberty. The conditions under which a person may make
whatever choices and decisions that they will, concerning their own actions,
lifestyle and livelihood. If liberty exists, then no person is under coercion
to do other than they best see fit to do. It is essential to liberty
that no person may act upon another without their expressed and specific
consent.
Each person is the sole proprietor of themselves and all products
of their existence. Each person must equally bear full responsibility
for their actions and issuance’s. The individual has the final authority
over their own body and life, and must accept responsibility for the products
of that life. A person may do as he or she will to and for themselves.
Their actions may or may not be in their best interests, but it is the
business of no other person or group to take that decision away.
A person may spend or waste their own life, without interference, no matter
how well intentioned.
This then is the condition we call liberty, or freedom.
At this time in America, various organizations have acted to take away
this originally stated aim. The Government, in cooperation with other
organizations and persons has held its own interests paramount over the
wants and will of a people that it governs by force.
Herein, the term government will be used to mean all of those
entities, official or factual, Public or clandestine, designed or incidental,
that are involved in the continued assault against the liberty of the people
The government does not rule by consent of the governed.
Those activities that purport to derive consent are so removed from actual
representation as to be considered fiction. The political system,
rather than acting as agents for the citizenry instead, acts as conduits
of special interest and privilege. Privilege is a word derived from
Latin and means literally private law. Private law singles out persons
and other entities from equal treatment. Private law provides that what
is a crime to an ordinary individual, is not a crime for the Privileged.
All elections are subtly controlled by this same group of the Privileged.
Though there are still many who participate in these elections, they are
a shrinking minority. Most Americans have given up on the hope that
they can exercise any influence with the political class. Those who
still participate are the ones who have been most successfully programmed
to believe what they are told by this government. As the official
account continues to differ more and more from observable reality, this
controlled electorate becomes smaller and smaller. It is increasingly made
up of persons who are unable or unwilling to think for themselves.
We are told that our government is to protect us from harm. It
routinely sends our youngest men into harm’s way in other lands to
further the interests of the political class. Yet at home, they strive
to prevent us from protecting ourselves. Violent Crime has reached a new
high in America. Persons long oppressed or neglected have started
striking out in ignorant desperation. They take to preying on other
persons, or trying to escape inward by whatever substances or activities
insulate them from harsh reality. They receive no help, only the
appearances of help. Empty gestures that relieve nothing except the
itchy consciences of that privileged minority. Where is protection against
other harm? Our children’s air is thick with the poisonous effluent of
the privileged industries. the food and water we eat are increasing adulterated
without our knowledge and sold as pure. Our businesses and livelihoods
are being vandalized daily. False and misleading commerce has become the
rule of the day. Instead of an aberration, fraud is a growth industry.
The government is to provide for general welfare. Yet we
are not one homogenous culture. We are of a great diversity of beliefs,
background, wants and needs. Instead, the narrow guidelines and moral codes
of a very limited group of ethnic and religious persuasions are enforced
on all. The Government controls many against their will, forcing these
same narrow guidelines upon everyone. Most of these guidelines are
those supposedly espoused by the same Privileged minority, yet that minority
may break them at will, safe in the knowledge that their privilege will
buy them immunity.
Each and every person should be able to voluntarily associate
with whoever they please, and do anything that they mutually agree to do.
When a group or individual attempts to control others against their will,
then that group or person must be made to cease.
The government is supposed to act as steward over those lands
and resources held in common by the people. Instead, they exercise
ownership, and exploit those lands and resources for the benefit of that
same privileged few. In the process, they spoil what they do not
take, and create conditions that are harmful to the general citizenry.
If a foreign power caused these ruinous conditions, then our government
would consider it an act of war. We are being robbed by those charged
to protect us.
The very methods used by this government are considered crimes
if perpetrated by an individual. This government may steal, assault,
commit perjury, extort, destroy private property, pollute, and kill. It
may separate families, disrupt religions, dissolve associations, regulate
speech and alter the content of written or recorded works. It may disband
political adversaries, make laws prohibiting harmless actions, discredit
opponents, and deport or incarcerate those persons it finds arrayed against
its will. It does all of these things by threat of physical force, and
financed by an extorted share of the earnings of those against whom it
acts. Ends do not justify means, but must be consistent with them. You
do not clean a house by throwing mud around the living room, beheading
is not the best cure for a migraine.
It is a great triumph of subtlety for this government that it
manages to do all of these terrible deeds in the guise of benevolent servant.
It has done so by exerting control over the education of the people, and
controlling the attentions of the media. There has rarely been Tyranny
with such a benign face. The medieval peasant did not see his lot
as anything but appropriate. Like him, we are held in ignorance.
Yet listing grievances is only a small part of making remedy
to our plight. We must also offer answers.
We must call an end to political monopoly. The two parties
that dominate our lives, operate through and by the funding of Privilege
and taxes, must give way to a more equitable array of views. The Demopublican
Party must give up its private command of the media, and allow other views
as much access as they themselves command.
We must call an end to corporate immunity. When a person
hires another to commit a murder or other crime, that person is held as
guilty as the hireling. So it must be with Corporations, and other
organizations. When a corporate entity is found guilty of a crime,
the persons in charge of that corporation should be held as personally
responsible for the actions of the organization. Corporations are
not persons. They can have no rights in excess of any individual.
Indeed, they should be considered as inanimate objects having no more rights
than a rabid animal, or a dangerous device
Our system of justice needs to be accessible to all. At
this time it is impossible for a private citizen to seek justice in our
courts. Instead, he must avail himself of a class of persons whose
function is analogous to the Medieval Church. They become arbiters of truth,
using a language foreign to the ordinary citizenry. The legal and bureaucratic
industries have created conditions that guarantee their preeminence above
the ordinary citizen. The most basic legal protections become available
only to those who have the price to buy them. A monopoly invariably
inflates its selling prices to the highest possible rate. As a result,
those least able to defend themselves, lose even the theoretical protection
of the law, and in a 180 turn, the mechanisms of the law are turned against
them, victimizing rather than protecting them. The action in this case
is to simplify the law to an enormous degree. The law must be made understandable
and accessible to any one who needs it. The rule of law, static words on
paper, should be replaced with the rule of reason, with commonly understood
principles that can be applied widely and administered by our original
system of judges, and peer juries. Do we really need separate crimes for
theft of an automobile or of theft of an artwork? Should the crime of assault
be different because of the reason the criminal made the assault? Or can
we just be taught simple behavioral rules, as we should to our children,
not absolutes of right from wrong, not codified rules. (“you said not to
throw it at Stacey, you didn’t say anything about throwing it at Wendell”,
says a budding young lawyer..)
I can even suggest again, as above, that a good starting place
is the recognition that each person owns themselves in entirety, and is
responsible for everything they do or leave behind. Any association between
persons that is voluntary is legitimate. All persons effected by these
actions must be considered to be associated, and their expressed permission
is required. (Hey neighbor, bill and I wuz gonna burn all these plastic
bags here in our backyard, next to your kitchen window, you mind if we
do?) It is remarkable how many of our crimes can be described in these
two concepts.
Privilege must end. So long as might makes right, whether physical
or fiscal, there exists a state of tyranny. A double standard that
progresses to such excess and division as to generally end in violence.
This is not a call for the end of wealth or prosperity, just and end to
such prosperity being used to deprive others of their due. I cannot suggest
that we each are to be guaranteed the necessities of life, quite otherwise.
However, persons allowed to do as they see fit can at least make their
own mistakes, instead of being coerced or programmed to make choices that
keep them at a level of critical need.
In principle and practice, those persons and agencies, organizations
and special interests that make up the overt and covert organism we call
government have breached their social contract with us the citizenry. A
contract in abeyance is not enforceable. A contract enforced without the
consent of any of those so associated, is no contract, but an assault.
We are at this time powerless to change this in the traditional ways of
politics and revolutions. The first because Politics has evolved into a
system that creates privilege, and corrupts or misleads those who become
involved in it. Revolt has always victimized the helpless and generally
created new power groups using politics and violence as its twin weapons
of oppression, conscious or benevolent.
The way we must go is the way that has always made advances.
We must think our way out. Every advance started as an idea, an “impossible”
idea. Limited, flawed, unworkable ideas must be spread about, tried and
experimented. We must learn to act outside those traditional ways of politics
and revolt, and change out actions on a personal level. We must stop looking
for something powerful to help us, to save us, as such power has always
become the greatest peril.
