Judy thinks the old saying "the more things change the more they are the same" might go for cooking. In the ancient kitchen at Sleepy Hollow, decked in Colonial garb, she had fun sampling the bread and cookies baked in the old fireplace oven—and she found them delicious. Of course the ancient recipes need to be "modernized"—but molasses and ginger and spices from the Indies, so much in vogue then, still tempt the palate. Here she is ready to stamp out her own tasty gingerbread men.
