Well, girls, at last we have a magazine of comics and stories and things that is published just for us! I wonder why nobody ever thought of this before. Most of the comic magazines are filled largely with comics that boys like better than girls, but CALLING ALL GIRLS is going to have what we want and nothing else.
Look through this first issue and you will see what I mean. Thirty-
The publisher of CALLING ALL GIRLS invited me to look over the advance proofs of this first issue before the magazine went to press. She asked me to tell her what I thought of it. I told her I thought it was absolutely "super." Am I right? Won't you write to Miss Margaret E. Jessup, who is in charge of publishing this magazine, and tell her what you think of it? Tell her what kind of stories and comics you like best, what subjects interest you especially. Tell her frankly if there are things about CALLING ALL GIRLS that you think could be improved. Your criticisms and suggestions will be most useful and really appreciated.
And here's another thing...don't you think we should all get together to boost our own magazine? We want all the girls we know to read it, too, don't we? All right, then, don't forget to tell your friends about it. Tell them to look for CALLING ALL GIRLS on the newsstands...the first magazine of its kind for girls and sub-debs.
