Dreams
Molly Mande 1998
From the folds of night time's
blanket
comes a wave of dreams
sweeping through the star rought
world
so nothing's as it seems.
Night's the time for imagination
to take it's steady grip
apon the mortals of this world
who from reality do slip.
Glad of this pleasure cruize
from their dreary lives
mortals gladly slumber on
through the dreamy ride.
Until from the break of daylight
reality once again creeps
makeing night seem only a dream
among those who once belived.
Uniqueness
Molly Mande 1997
"different is wrong"
the world cries
with it's harsh words
and glaring eyes...
But differnt is right
cant you see?
cause with out uniquness
you'd be just like me...
Don't Forget
Molly Mande 1998
Don't forget the dragons
nor the wonderfuly gallent knights.
Don't forget the paupers
nor the battles that they fight.
Don't forget the princesses
the fairys, or the toads.
For the minute you forget
is the minute you grow old.
Beware
Molly Mande 1998
Beware the many trails my dear
that wind and twist and fork.
Beware the many choices dear
that cause greif and remorse.
Beware the people dear
that cause pain in your life.
And beware of those words
that will cut you like a knife.
Never talk to strangers
and always look both ways.
Mind your elders dear
and beware of where you play.
Always eat your veggies dear
and remember not to lie.
And remember one last thing my dear.
No mater how careful you are,
even you will die.
Never Neverland
Molly Mande 1998
every child dreams of a magical land
where pirates roam, and indians play.
Every child hopes of a dream land
where you never grow old, not even a day.
Every child dreams of a wonderful land
where flying comes naturely, as pecan pie
Every child dreams of a Never Neverland
and as old as I am, so do I.
Carpe Diem
Molly Mande 1998
Death and time are voids unexplored
both causeing fear in many
like the wind eats away at the sand
they slowly kill humanity...
Time is a clock that slowly ticks
each second could be your last
as yesterday becomes tomorow,
and the future becomes the past.
Death is a shadow slowly creeping
to cover up the light
estiguising your whole life
like a candle in the night...
So live each second to the fullest
Carpe Diem, Seize the day
fill you live with memories
before it slips away.
