Titanic
Leonardo Dicaprio, Kate Winslet

I am probably one of the biggest movie critics there are. I will usually always find something wrong with a movie, but not this one. This movie makes my elite top five movies I have ever seen, and may even be number one. Of course, I'd have to put Braveheart, Top Gun, Rocky I, and the Godfather in there, but this movie definitely deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as these movies.

I've seen this movie three times, and was on the verge of crying all three times I saw it. I haven't cried in about a year, and never have I cried over a movie, but this one was the closest I have ever come.

Kate Winslet was amazing in the movie, not just because of the fact that she is glorious, but the way she looked at Jack Dawson, and just the way she acted throughout the entire movie from the beginning to the end was incredibly realistic, and touched me like no actress has ever touched me before.

Doing an almost equally amazing job was Leonardo DiCaprio. He perfectly portrayed a lower class boy who was driven by love to help the survival of the girl he loved, Rose. There were some good performances by supporting actors as well, including Rose as an old Lady.

It was the special effects that drew me to watch this movie the first time, and of course, they were incredible, but it was the amazing love story that drew me back twice more. The filming was amazing as well. The way that the movie starts, showing the real Titanic under the water, and then dissolving into the replica of the Titanic for the movie, was extremely powerful. Now that I think about it, special effects wise, filming wise, story wise, and acting wise, this is definitely the BEST movie I have ever seen. It is a must see...at least once!!
