The Impossible Wish
I run hard,
But I don’t move.
I work tirelessly.
But I never finish.
I search endlessly,
But I never find.
I cry all night,
And come out worse.
I wish all day,
For something impossible, love.
I hope all day that the impossible wish I
was granted,
Will never become like the rest of my life.
