I bought a filter for use in trying infrared film again after i had
seen a picture in one of my photo mags (taken during the daytime)
with stars. Please note that you don't need to do this digitally!
I found the wratten 87C, which appears black as it filters out all
visible light and lets through only infrared. This means that you
must shoot with infrared film (usually HIE- Kodak's High Speed
Infrared) and then the image will be of ONLY infrared light. Very
cool. It made for some dramatic clouds where there were really
boring ones in real life on this first test roll i took with it.
I like infrared now!
