A new power is born

Part 6: Last Round

It's the same disclaimers.  I don't own Dragon Ball Z nor do I own Sailor Moon.  
Akira Toriyama owns Dragon Ball Z, and Naoko Takeuchi and a bunch of other 
people own Sailor Moon.  I have no money, so if you're going to sue, the only 
thing you'll get is my sister and a cat (j/k).  Even though I don't own the 
characters, except Sailor Jaguar, Isis, Seth and Thoth.  This story is mine.

Part 6: last round

As the minutes ticked by, everyone anticipated for the final fight.  Since the 
final round had two full-blooded Saiyans and a half Saiyan in it, the fight was 
moved to the middle of no where.  There was a big screen TV put in the arena to 
appease the fans.  

But unknown to Isis, is what Goku and Vegeta had in store for her.  Goku at one 
side, Vegeta at the other, and Isis in the middle.  Isis looked out of the 
corner of her left eye.  Seeing that Vegeta was getting in position to attack.  
She looked out of the corner of her right eye and saw Goku also getting into 
position.  

From out of no where, a loud whistle blew, indicating the beginning of the 
round.  Isis tensed, feeling the ki of both her teacher and her uncle.  She felt 
rather than saw when both Vegeta and Goku jerked, and raced towards her.  Isis 
jumped into the air, to avoid them.  Both Goku and Vegeta flew after her.  
 
While she flew, she turned around.  Placing her fingers on her forehead, she 
yelled "SOLAR FLARE!" then quickly closing her eyes to avoid the very bright 
light.  

Vegeta and Goku closed their eyes as fast as they could, but still caught some 
of the bright light.  They were blinded for a minute or so, giving Isis enough 
time to get behind them, and attack.  Isis charged at them, slamming her left 
fist in the back of Goku's neck, while doing the same for Vegeta.  

The attack didn't phase either Vegeta or Goku.  They blinked a couple of times 
to clear their eyes, and then turned around.  Vegeta looked at Goku, and nodded.  
Vegeta raced towards Isis, only to find out she wasn't there.

Isis appeared behind Vegeta, and head butted him in the back.  Someone behind 
Isis grabbed her.  Struggling, she turned her head to see who had her, and saw 
that her uncle got a hold of her.  

Back at the arena, the crowed was going crazy.  People were cheering some one 
on.  There were medics on stand by, for everyone knew that at the end of the 
fight, there would be at least one person near death or so.

Back to the fighting...
Isis struggled out of her uncle's grip, and managed to get one arm loose.  She 
jammed her elbow as hard as she could to Goku's chest.  He loosened his grip on 
her other arm, giving her enough room to jerk her arm out of his grip, and bring 
her other elbow down as hard as she could, like the other one.  Bringing her 
arms forward, she formed two large ki balls in her palms.  She brought her hands 
behind her and shot the ki balls, then quickly moving out of the way, and right 
into Vegeta.  Vegeta threw her punches, which she blocked, but didn't see an 
opening to retaliate.

Goku shook his head, and saw that Isis wasn't in front of him anymore, but saw 
that Vegeta was fighting her.  Goku joined in, and punched towards Isis.  She 
was blocking Vegeta's punches, and now she had to block Goku's punches.  
Thinking quickly, Isis began to scream.  Vegeta and Goku stopped punching, and 
covered their ears from her scream.  

A golden light surrounded her body.  Turing her black hair blonde, her 
amber/gray eyes blue.  Even before she stopped screaming, she launched herself 
towards Goku and Vegeta, catching them off guard.  She gave an upper cut to 
Goku, and got Vegeta in the stomach with her foot.  

She hurled punches at Vegeta.  Slamming her fists harder and harder on his 
stomach, never giving him an inch.  Then she uppercut him in the jaw, sending 
him high into the air.  Turning her attention to Goku, she noticed that he went 
SSJ.  They went at it.  Neither was giving an inch.  

Vegeta straightened himself out, and watched Goku and Isis fight.  He too went 
SSJ, and waited till it was the right moment to strike.  He watched silently, 
following their movements, and thinking that when he wins this tournament, he'll 
finally beat Kakarrot.  While he was in thought, he didn't see the ki blast 
headed straight for him.  The blast sent him a high into the sky.  He 
straightened out, and flew down to Isis and Goku.  

Both Goku and Isis didn't notice Vegeta approach them, but they did feel the ki 
attack that he sent them, which both dodged.  With Goku and Isis stopped 
fighting, Vegeta started to attack Isis.  He punched her over and over again, 
but never hit her squarely, for she blocked every punch he sent.  

Goku watched on as Vegeta attacked his niece.  He really didn't want to fight 
her, but he wanted to win.  He kept on watching, feeling that something wasn't 
just right.  He concentrated, trying to feel Isis ki.  When he did feel her ki, 
he came to some sort of wall or door that surrounded her ki.  He then knew that 
she had tight reign on her ki and power.  But didn't know how long she had a 
hold on her power.

Vegeta finally landed punch.  Hitting her under her chin, sending her through 
the air.  But she straightened out and headed for Vegeta, stopping when she was 
a few feet from him.  Vegeta watched was she was doing, noticing the small snarl 
on her lips.

Isis panted, air coming in at short breaths.  Her eyes darted from Vegeta to 
Goku and back.  She closed her eyes just for second, and the air around her 
became full of tension.  She then opened them.  Giving a growl, she changed to 
SSJ level 2.  Her blonde hair becoming longer, her blue eyes turned green.  With 
a faster speed, she launched herself towards Vegeta, who didn't even see her 
until he was sailing through the air.  Isis turned her attention to Goku, and 
quickly propelled herself towards him.  Throwing punches, Isis dodged the 
punches Goku sent her, but not the 
kick to her stomach.  Groaning in pain, Isis fell to the ledge of a cliff, 
holding her stomach.  Gasping, she looked up to see a giant ki blast heading 
towards her.  She jumped into the air in the nick of time to avoid the blast.

Isis powered up to fire an attack, looking from Vegeta to Goku when flashes of 
some kind of memory popped into her head.  She shook her head, and held her 
hands apart, above her head, she yelled "Osiris Hell Flash!" bringing her hands 
down in front of her, she blasted the attack towards Vegeta and her uncle.  

"Hell flash? When did she learn th" Goku didn't finish, as he moved out of the 
way, but the attack followed both him and Vegeta.  She broke her hands apart, 
splitting the attack to both Goku and Vegeta.

Isis let the attack dissipate.  She was about to attack again when the flashes 
from before started to continue in her head.  She shook her head harder, trying 
to get the images to stop.  But from out of no where, did voices appear.  

"You can't do it.  You can't win Isis" The voices taunted, mocking her.  

"Stop it!" Isis called out, holding her head between her palms.  

"Stop what?" Goku asked Vegeta, who just shrugged his shoulders.  They looked 
on, trying to figure out what was wrong with her; they apparently couldn't hear 
the voices

"You're just a girl" the voices laughed out "You can't win because you're a 
girl.  A regular human could beat you." The voices spewed out a bunch of 
insults, names at her.

"NO! It's not true!" Isis cried out, tears running silently down her cheeks.

Goku and even Vegeta were shocked to see tears running down her cheeks.  They 
never knew her to cry, actually this is the first time they ever saw her cry.  
"Vegeta, do you feel something?" Goku asked in a serious voice.  Vegeta quirked 
an eyebrow, and nodded slightly.

"NO! STOP IT!" Isis screamed out, but the voices continued.  "What would happen 
if your teacher would find out that you like him? He'd laugh at you.  Everyone 
laughs at you.  You can't fight.  Your just a pathetic wanna be fighter girl who 
can't do anything right."

The tears continued down her face, and in her mind appeared an image of Goku, 
and Vegeta laughing, taunting, and hurling insults at her.  An image of Vegeta, 
her uncle, and her family laughing at her when they found out her about her 
crush on Vegeta.  She cried harder at that image.  

She sobbed, her hands clenched at her sides.  

The crowed at the arena sat on the edge of their seats, trying to figure out 
what was going on.  Isis's brothers sat in the crowed, feeling their sister's 
pain, yet unable to do anything about it.

Isis closed her eyes, trying to shut out the voices, but that didn't work.  The 
voices continued to taunt her insult her.  She opened her eyes slowly, eyeing 
her uncle and Vegeta.  And without screaming or yelling, she transformed to SSJ 
level 3.  

The look in her eyes was dull, and full of pain.  Yet behind that pain was a 
spark of fire that raged to burn.  She glared at the both of them. 

"You didn't even win those fights, they let you win" The voices continued to 
taunt.  Isis crossed her arms over her head, trying to block out the voices.

Goku closed his eyes, and felt for her ki again.  "What?" Goku cried out.  He 
came to the wall that surrounded her ki.  The wall he saw started to crack and 
he could see flames pushing their way through.  Goku opened his eyes in time to 
see Isis uncross her arms from over her head.  

"It's not true" Isis repeated to herself her body began to glow an orange red, 
"It's not true." Isis took a deep breath, then screamed out really loud "IT'S 
NOT TRUE!" two little flames appeared in her eyes, and with a whoosh, her body 
became incased in fire.

Vegeta jumped back, getting away from her and the fire.  'How can she stand that 
fire, she isn't even trying to put it out' Vegeta thought to himself.

A voice whispered, letting everyone hear it.  Even Goku and Vegeta heard the 
voice.  "It was written that she," the whispering voice whispered, like a summer 
breeze "shall become one within the flame.  And later she shall consume herself 
into the fire, and rise from her own ashes to a new."

Isis chuckled softly, an empty and hollow sound.  She wasn't harmed at all from 
the flames that surround her, but she knew two people who will be harmed by the 
fire.  The voices stopped, but Isis didn't care for she was now an unfeeling 
person in this state.  

Holding up her hands, she merged her ki with the fire.  "Ra fire beam!" a huge 
fireball formed between her hands, she then shot it towards Goku and Vegeta.  
Non ending fire flew from her hands into the attack as it raced with incredible 
speed towards its targets.

Vegeta stared at the attack as it raced towards him.  He transformed to Super 
Saiya-Jin level 2, while Goku did the same thing.   They both formed ki shields 
around themselves.  But the shield did nothing as the attack broke right through 
it and continued to race towards them.  

Goku and Vegeta managed to get away before the fire attack hit them.  They both 
moved on either side of her.  They fired as many attacks as they could.  And all 
the attacks hit her, but she didn't show any sign of tiring or of being hurt.  
Goku went Super Saiya-Jin level 3 while Vegeta went Super Saiya-Jin level 4.  

Goku was about use a Kamehameha, while Vegeta prepared to do a Final flash when 
Isis, still covered in fire, raised her hands to the air above her head.  She 
mumbled something to herself, making the fire around her burst, becoming a 
bigger fire around her.  "PHOENIX" Isis screamed out, her hands bursting with 
fire that became bigger and bigger each second.  The fire on her hands wrapped 
around her body as she floated in the middle of the fire as it took the shape of 
a gigantic bird.   

"Final flash!" Vegeta cried out, letting loose the powerful attack on the 
firebird.  The attack hit home, and he could see Isis flinch in pain, but she 
still held her ground or air.  

"Vegeta, keep on firing your most powerful attacks, while I do the same" Goku 
said as he readied to do his attack.  Vegeta reluctantly nodded, and fired his 
big bang attacks & final flash over and over again.  While Goku went Super 
Saiya-Jin level 4, and fired his Kamehameha, not stopping.

Isis howled in pain as the attacks kept on hitting her.  She closed her eyes, 
and poured more of her energy and ki into the firebird that surrounded her.  
Before Goku and Vegeta's eyes, the bird got bigger and bigger, till it was about 
one or two miles big, from wingtip to wingtip.  

Goku and Vegeta backed up from the bird, the heat was so hot from the firebird, 
and the air sparked fire that threatened to burn them.  

Vegeta gathered his energy, Goku doing the same thing.  "BIG BANG ATTACK!" 
Vegeta fired the attack with a force that it made the winds blow like hurricane 
winds.  Goku cupped his hands at his side.  "KAMEHAMEHAAAAAAAAA!" Goku yelled, 
brining his cupped hands forward, blasting his powerful attack at her.

The fire in Isis eyes started to die down as the attacks hit her.  Her body was 
racked with pain at the attacks continued.  Her body still covered in a small 
fire, but that too started to die down as her body was mangled.  With several 
snaps, bones in her body began to break.  Her breathing became ragged and 
shallow as she fell to the ground slowly as first, then faster, till a flash of 
light appeared, reveling three men and one woman dressed funny.

Isis coughed; bringing up blood but a gentle hand on her forehead stopped her 
coughing.  Isis closed her eyes; it was becoming harder to breath.   Her breath 
became shallower as the seconds passed.

Goku and Vegeta watched the four people with Isis.  The tallest man placed his 
hand on Isis's forehead, emitting a bright light and fire.  Isis's body began to 
jerk, and tremble as energy began to flow through her body.  

Goku watched from afar as Isis's body began to jerk.  He decided it was time to 
help his niece and took off towards the group.  Till one of the men turned 
around, his body shimmered, and took on his original form.  Goku stopped, 
watching the man change.  The head of the man changed to the one of a Jackal.  

"What?" Goku said, blinking in surprise at the change

"Do not interfere" The creature growled, "Even though you have a pure heart, you 
have to step back and leave us be." "Anubis" The second tallest man said, "Leave 
him alone, he is her uncle.  Come here, do you have it?" The man asked "Yes 
Osiris" The man named Anubis said.

"Will she be ok Ra?" the woman asked.  The man named Ra explained "Yes Isis. In 
about a week, she will be fine.  And from now on, she will be able to handle the 
power of the Phoenix and its fire better." The man removed his hand from her 
forehead to reveal a symbol on her forehead.  The older woman, Isis, nodded and 
looked over the girl who was named after her.  

The older Isis turned to her husband, Osiris.  "Do you think she'll ever find 
love? She seems so distant and cold" "I'm sure my queen, that she'll find love 
sometime, somewhere." Osiris said, patting her hand softly.

The younger Isis moaned in pain.  The symbol on her forehead shimmered with 
light, then died down.  She tried to get up, even though many of the bones in 
her body were broken.  She tried to gather her energy to fly, but had none left. 

A figure in the distance approached them, followed by several other people.  
Goku looked up to see his brother, followed by both of his sons, Trunks, and 
Piccolo.  Raditz landed first, then ran to his daughter.  He knelt next to her, 
and felt for her pulse.  When he found it, he gave a sigh of relief, and then 
gently scooped her into his arms.  He looked to his side, and saw four people.  
He knew who they were, and nodded in respect.  

They nodded back, and the man named Ra walked up to Isis who was in Raditz's 
arms.  He again placed his hand on her forehead, right above the symbol.  He 
chanted softly to himself then stopped.  He whispered "Bonus fors, parvus ignis 
avis."(Good luck, little firebird) With that, and a nod to the others, he 
disappeared, followed by 
Isis, Osiris, and Anubis.

Goten, Gohan walked or ran actually to see their cousin.  There was fresh blood 
mixing with dried blood that seeped out of cuts on her body.  They cringed at 
the sight. 

Gohan, Goten, Trunks and Piccolo stared with confusion as Raditz leapt into the 
air, and took off.  Vegeta and Goku continued to fight to see who would win the 
tournament.  But while they fought, a little part of Goku's mind was worried 
about his niece. 

Raditz took off with Isis in his arms towards a hospital.  When he got there, 
there were doctors waiting for her.  They took her from his arms, and told him 
to wait.  Raditz waited for the news of his daughter, and while he waited, he 
mate, who was now healed, showed up.  

In the emergency room, the doctors where subjected to hoarse cries.  "Teneo!  
Quid arus tu factum?  Permitto me eo dexter nunc!  Phoenix!" "Everything will be 
fine, Isis" said one doctor, trying to calm her down.   Isis thrashed on the 
table, trying to get away from them, and with some energy she didn't know she 
had, she flew off the table, and out the window, breaking the window while she 
did this.  

She flew off to the east towards the desert, unknown to her parents.  She flew 
till she had little strength left, landed very painfully and found a place to 
stay.  Keeping her ki down, she fell asleep.

While back at the hospital, the doctors where trying to figure out how to tell 
her parents on what happened.  

In the waiting room, Goku showed up with cuts and bruises all over his body, and 
some blood trickled out of the cuts.  He walked over to his brother his 
brother's wife.  "So, how's Isis?" Goku asked, sitting down.  Jaguar shrugged 
her shoulders "I don't know, they haven't told us" just then the doctors came 
out into the waiting room.  

"Where's Isis?" Raditz demanded.  Some of the doctors jumped at the tone; While 
others coughed nervously, trying to get out what they had to say.  But one 
doctor, walked up to him, and looked him in the eye.

"Well, it seems Isis's left arm is broken in three places, her right leg is 
fractured.  Four of her ribs are broken, and we suspect a punctured lung.  There 
is also something on her forehead I would like to take a look at.  But we'll 
have that fixed up in no time.  There was two more things I would like to talk 
to you about, oh yea" The doctor paused.  "Umm the first thing is while we were 
examining your daughter, she started to cry out in Latin." 

"Latin?" Raditz and Jaguar said together.  The doctor nodded, and said "If I 
translated it right she said 'Teneo!  Quid arus tu factum?  Permitto me eo 
dexter nunc!  Phoenix!' Which translates, I think to 'Stop! What are you doing?  
Let me go right now!  Phoenix!'" The doctor explained.

"And what is the second thing?" Raditz said, looming down on the doctor who 
started to sweat, and tug at his tie.  "Well, also while we were examining Isis, 
she uh, she sorta disappeared"

"WHAT?" Jaguar roared.  "WHERE'S MY DAUGHTER, YOU PATHIC PIECE OF HUMAN FLESH!" 
Goku and Raditz had to hold Jaguar down as she started to attack the poor doctor 
who was on the ground with fear.  Jaguar then collapsed in tears, worried about 
her only daughter.

"I'll start looking and get everyone to help" Goku volunteered, Raditz agreed.  
Goku took off out the doors, and flew to find everyone.

In no time did he find everyone.  As they got ready to leave to visit Isis in 
the hospital.  "What's wrong Goku?" Bulma asked, noticing the serious look on 
his face.  Bulma though that Goku should be happy, he won the tournament.  But 
right now, he looked dead serious and worried.  

Goku told them what happened, and they all agreed to help Goku look for Isis.  
Except for Vegeta who was behind a tree.  

Vegeta listened to what Goku was saying, and even though he would never show it, 
he was also worried about his student.  Flying off away from everyone, he used 
his powers to locate her.  

After flying for about three hours or so, he still hadn't pick up anything, 
until he felt a small twinge.  He flew close to the ground, then landed.  As he 
followed the twinge, he came to a small cave.  Walking into the cave, Vegeta 
felt the twinge getting bigger till he found a body in the cave.

He looked over the person, and even though it was dark inside of the cave, he 
identified it as Isis.  He must have made a sound for Isis bolted up, or at 
least tried to.  "Who's there?" Isis managed to croak out.  

Vegeta stepped closer, and got a good look at her left arm, which was swollen 
twice its normal size.  He stared coldly down at her and said in a gruff, harsh 
and hard voice "After all the training we went through, you can't recognize my 
power?" Vegeta said as walked out of the cave

"Sorry Vegeta-san" Isis whispered.  Her throat was dry, and her chest hurt, 
making it hard to talk and breath.  She struggled to get up, but had a very hard 
time.  With a fractured leg, broken arm, and energy depleted.  She did mange to 
get herself outside, and into the sunlight.  

In the light, Vegeta got a good look at what happened to her.  Her whole left 
arm was covered in dried blood, bruises, and dirt.  Her right leg had a major 
laceration down the side, with dried, and fresh blood spilling out.  There were 
cuts all over her legs, arms, and face. 

A look of worry crossed his face, but then faded just as fast as it appeared.  
"Stay here" Vegeta said harshly, Isis nodded her head slightly.  Vegeta gave her 
one last look, and took off.

Vegeta flew as fast as he could, trying to pick up some one's ki.  He finally 
pinpointed Kakarrot, and flew towards him.  

Goku was still trying to find his niece when he felt Vegeta's ki coming towards 
him at a fast rate.  "If your still looking for your niece, I found her" Vegeta 
said as he flew up to Goku.  

Goku looked at Vegeta, who was smirking.  Vegeta turned around and flew back to 
where he came from.  Goku followed close behind Vegeta.

Vegeta and Goku landed, looking for Isis.  They couldn't find her until Goku 
looked down to see Isis passed out on the ground.  Goku picked her up, and 
launched into the air, followed by Vegeta.  Instead of taking her back to the 
hospital, they took her to Bulma's house.

After a while of flying, Goku spotted Bulma's house.  He landed quickly, and 
kicked the door open.  "What?" Bra said, coming out of her room.  She spotted 
Isis in Goku's arms, and said "Oh, its her.  If you're looking for mom, she's in 
medical room." Bra had never cared for Isis, for reasons unknown.  Goku nodded 
thanks, and went to the medical room.  

Placing Isis gently on the examining table, Goku went looking for Bulma.

Vegeta sat next to the examining table.  Isis moaned, but didn't wake up.  The 
symbol on her forehead glowed.  Reaching out, Vegeta placed his hand on the 
symbol.   What Isis felt during the fight was transferred to Vegeta's mind.  
Luckily for Isis, her secrete crush didn't go into Vegeta's mind.  But Vegeta 
did feel what she felt when her power increased, and when her body was engulfed 
in the fire.

"Illie ira ignis" Isis sighed in her sleep, making Vegeta jerk his hand back.  
"The raging fire? How did I know what she said?" Vegeta asked himself, trying to 
figure out how he knew what she said.

Bulma came in and saw the condition that Isis was in.  Rushing to her side, 
Bulma pulled out some medical supplies, and called a doctor friend of hers.

After the doctor took care of Isis, Bulma put Isis in the rejuvenation tank, 
while Goku contacted Isis's parents.  

Next: The epilogue 

I hope you liked this part.  It sorta of explains the title, huh?.  Anyway, the 
Language above is Latin, and I got it from Pocket Latin Dictionary.  I don't 
know Latin, so I don't know if it is right.  I'll have the epilogue out soon.

SSJ Bulma
