Gallery .31 was initiated by COR DE NOBEL. In those "old days" he could not expose his work: it was too modern, too shocking. This gallery existed from 1957 till 1962. In that time 56 exhibitions took place. In 1990 a big survey of all those artists was organized in the "DORDRECHT MUSEUM". A catalogue was edited: " .31 , een geruchtmakende galerie voor moderne kunst 1957-1962." (" .31 , a sensational gallery for modern art 1975-1962"). Most of the work for exhibition and catalogue, (still for sale), was done by INEKE VOORSTEEGH  In Vorm ,  working for the DORDRECHTS MUSEUM at that time. |
Work of COR DE NOBEL is in the possession of: Her Majesty Queen BEATRIX, DORDRECHTS MUSEUM, GRONINGER MUSEUM , GASUNIE, and quite a number of collectors. For other names of artists you can look on page 1a and for returning to the start see page 1 . Since that time, 1962, COR DE NOBEL worked by fits and starts (see one of the next chapters) and in 1984 he opened a new gallery, but now one for applied arts. (More about that in yet another chapter!) |
A great part of the work shown in this site is for sale. Prizes may vary much and if you want information: Phone us: 0031503127953, or mail us: |
