INTENTIONS

At a certain moment after having collected a fair amount of art-works and also having gathered much home-made "pie" we asked
ourselves :"What are we going to do with that stuff". Just "having it around" sounds so greedy and in our opinion it is a unrespectfull
treatment of art. We decided to construct a web-site (after some time and a lot of mistakes we got the hang of it, with the help of a friend. )

So we made this web-site, but that was'n't just all. We choose for a concept that gave to every artist his own page, not
disturbed by several imponderabilia which are to be seen on too many a site. Everyone his own spot, like the pages of a
'picturebook'. Of course all the pages are linked with each other, as are the chapters. It is quite simple a matter of common sense.

We like our web-site to be a good one, that is to say, made with the best means possible for us: a good computer with much power,
a fast (ADSL) connection with the web, from our side entousiasm and at least a big amount of know-how in the world of art.
The computer we use is a MEDION, running WindowsXP Home edition, 512 MB DDRam, 120 GB hard disc, an external
ADSL modem and the stuff needed to use pictures, ATI Radeon 9600 TX, together with some sound- and movementpossibilities, like a.o.
SWISH Lite v 1.52. Building the site happened for the most part with the use of ARACHNOPHILIA, which I like very much
as a friendly "usefull object". Nearly all the photographs were made with a SONY Cybershot, DSC-S70, 3.3 megapixels.
WS_FTP LE converts the details to the server Fortunecity, with some advertisement, but we get 100MB of space! Much!!
Last but not least we have to mention MARCEL ROUWELER, a very cunning webdesigner and so often a helping hand for me.

This is also the place to give some technical data. For going to a next page one needs to click on next , mostly situated in the right bottom corner.
When the word NEXT is written in capitals it means that you have to wait for a moment because of a graphical "surgery"or "joke".

You may go from page to page, and back with using the knobs serving therefor. You may go from chapter to chapter and from
there further to pages. The chapters have the names and subjects of the artist on it. As said, a matter of common sense.

Have fun and thank you!
