The work of JANKE KLOMPMAKER is balancing
between 'real-not real', which gives it a strong poetical
touch. Is a table a table? No it is not. It is a mere image
of a table. That gives us the possibility to play with the
things and enchants us into the atmosphere of fairytales.
That's
why we were encouraged to make a file of the 'tables'
using different
colors into an animation.
Janke has her jokes too. Here two brick and three coffee beans.
The beans suggest to belong in the brick, but they do not fit at all.
In my opinion: that's the joke. You imagine something that is not visible!!!
