"Deathwatch"
As I lie awake at night,
watching my life fly by,
I listen to the sound,
of the tempral clicking fly.
You do not relize ,
what I am -
You couldn't even care.
But, the sound of death,
lies on my chest,
and it's face does only stare.
The image of the end -
I see what's left before me,
is the murder of a friend.
I cannot understand just,
why this happends in my life.
But, I'm standing over the body,
and there's blood upon the knife.
My anger and my hatred swells,
with every passing hour.
I act out my vengance -
in my head it all turns sour.
The light is nearly breaking,
throught the tape
upon my window blind,
and I finally sleep -
My soul to keep,
but each night I lose my mind.
