Music Theory Page:

    This is the page that is all about analysis of people's music. We would eventually like to have a whole hoard of pieces for people to download as a reference for their own ideas of how music should be analyzed.  This page is not intended to be used as a tool for students to cheat.  (not to mention your instructor might not agree with our analysis.  On the other hand we might not agree with your instructor)

In order for your submission to be posted it MUST fit one of the following criteria.

1. You own the copyright
2. You have expressed written permission to use the piece here(which you should send me a copy of as well - just scan it in)
3. The piece is public domain

Anyway I'm going to break this up again into a few sections.  They will be:

• Art Music - "if we get enough pieces these will all eventually have their own page"
  • 13th century to Baroque (this section will be slow going probably)
  • Baroque period
  • Classical period
  • Romantic period
  • Impressionistic period
  • 20th Century music
  • REALLY REALLY MODERN MUSIC (the technical name of course)
• Popular Music
  • Rock
  • Alternative
  • Punk etc...
• Submitted work
  • we might throw category's for this in later or if you want I can put your piece in a different section

For right now we don't have a lot of work to submit.  My friends and I will of course widdle away at putting everything on the computer, but for now I would LOVE to get some submission.
