Our Purpose
The Association for Academic Acceleration
was created to give a voice to today's students. Its main function
is to keep our overly oppressive education system from ruining our lives.
The Association was founded when its members realized how unbalanced and
ridiculously run our schools were. For example, take a look at the
graduation requirements of our high school:

A total of
twenty one credits is required to graduate,
four of which
must be from English,
three of
which must be from Social Studies,
two of which
must be from Math,
two of which
must be from Science,
and two of
which must be from Physical Education.

So, according to these requirements, we as students
need to know the most about English and History, while Math and Science
are irrelevant. That is incorrect. We at AAA believe that English
and History actually fall after Math and Science in importance.
Yet our opinions fall on the deaf ears of an ignorant administration, which
values drug education and weight-lifting over valuable skills such as computer
use.
