Louisville Slugger by John Ahlschwede

my swing at your skull, as always, just misses
it was a forgivable sin, I'm sure you'll concur
then you're smothering me in your warm kisses
like the salty wench that we all knew you were

I always waver between love and homicide
but that's common today, I'm not really alone
it's easy to kill when love's on your side
my heart always swells, when my bat hits bone
