The Pandemonium Configuration

Amongst the poor, the homeless and those abandoned there is an urban legend of a "Pennance Box"
The story goes that it contains the blood of a black priest who died trying to stop a white mob from burning his church in the early 60's.
That vile of blood within the Box is allegedly capable of removing the taint of drug dependency from one's body and addiction from one's mind and soul. The blood supposedly never runs out and can (if it exists) save millions.
Unfortunately, this is not it. However, it does look a lot like it.

The Pandemonium Configuration brings nothing but "pleasure beyond the senses" to those who solve it.
D'spayre, leader of the "Order of the Black Tear", and his cenobites come - syringes and rubber straps in hand, to preach their sermon and share their "gifts".
