Season Three
Angel will get out of hell and be "disturbed".

Angel will not get out of hell until a couple of episodes into the third season. He will only be in Buffy's dreams.

Ethan Rayne will return this season or next season.

Kelly Brendon (Nick's Twin) will guest star in an episode maybe as a vampire.

Buffy gets a new boyfriend and Angel hangs around making sure he is good to her.

Jamie Kennedy (Randy from Scream and Scream 2) will guest star on an episode, maybe as a vampire or Buffy's new boyfriend.

Another villian this season will be the Mayor of Sunnydale.
Spike and Drusilla will be back.

Anne (Season Three Premire)
 

The season premire will air Sept. 29.
Buffy will be back in Sunnydale "post haste". She will have been gone all summer.

The first ep written by Joss Whedon will deal with homelessness. Buffy will be living in a new town under the name "Anne". She's trying to escape being the slayer, but vampires come there too.

The Slayerettes have to take over the slayer roll until Buffy gets back.
Oz didn't attend enough classes to graduate. He'll repeat his senior year at Sunnydale High.
 

Dead Man's Party (Second Episode of Season 3)
 

Principal Snyder(Armin Shimerman) dies. Dead, but not gone. Snyder will be undead, playing "a zombie or something".
Faith, Hope, and Trick (Third Episode of Season 3)
The season three villian, Mr. Trick is introduced. He's a bit of an entrepreneur, and he's a little bit of old world meets high tech. He goes by the plan and not on impulses, making him an "anti-Spike".

Because Kendra died, there will be another slayer, named Faith. She's also introduced in Faith, Hope and Trick.

The new slayer is played by Eliza Dushku. She played the daughter in "True Lies".
 

Angel (1999 Spinoff series)
Stars David Boreanaz as Angel.

Spike(James Marsters), Drusilla(Juliet Landau) and Cordelia(Charisma Carpenter) will be on the Angel show. It will deal more with the Angel and Drusilla's relationship(as it was and as it is). Cordelia will be Angel's "gal Friday". (Reportedly this is not definite for several reasons including Charisma doesn't want to leave.)

He lives in Los Angeles.

Angel will be the hero. He'll fight demons and save humanity.

Whistler will be a character.

There will be guest apperances by the Buffy cast and David will guest on Buffy.

It starts in Fall 1999 and 13 episodes have been ordered(so far) for the first season.
