Mary and Joseph looked upon Jesus as a special, sacred, and Holy Gift from God.
They loved Him,
nurtured Him,
and guided Him.
They played a major role in Jesus development as a loving, wise, and strong person - able to cope and deal with his later struggles,Today, we pray that all parents will be touched with the divine faith of Mary and Joseph. The kind of faith that leads them to provide Unconditional Love for their children - love that lasts forever.
Lord, even though at times we feel our parents don't really care, we know deep down in our hearts that they really do. We also know, even though it's hard to admit, that we love them too.
So, during this busy day, may we pause a while to pray for our parents, and to pray that all parents will strive to love as Mary and Joseph did.
