Lord,

So often we see people who are hurting, in pain, and seem very sad!

We long to DO SOMETHING to help them, but we feel so helpless, so afraid of infringing on their territory, or upsetting them even more.

However.....there IS one way - ONE GENTLE HAPPY WAY - THAT MAY HELP ALL PEOPLE - AND.........THAT WAY IS - A LOVING HELLO ACCOMPANIED WITH A SMILE!

A SMILE, AND A HELLO , ACKNOWLEDGES ONE ANOTHER!

IT BRINGS WARMTH AND LIGHT TO OUR DAY!

Sometimes this is all we need to give, to brighten up someone else's day - to give them a sense of belonging, and to make them feel better!

Lord, I sometimes feel that You must have SMILED AND SAID HELLO A LOT - BECAUSE PEOPLE GRAVITATED TO YOU.

They followed You, and because of that, our world changed FOREVER!

OUR CHALLENGE TODAY IS TO BEGIN TO CHANGE OUR WORLD, WITH A SIMPLE BUT PROFOUND HELLO, ACCOMPANIED BY A SMILE!
