Lord, I woke up this morning, and greeted the day with great misery!

Outside my window, all I could see was windy, snowy weather, and I knew the streets would be filled with slush and ice. Transportation would definitely be a huge chore!

I just wanted to stay in bed, huddled under warm blankets with hot chocolate nearby!

Lord, please help me to see Your Divine and Holy Light!

Even in these dark, cold and snowy days, please help me to remember that You are always shining Your Beautiful Rays of Light down upon everyone!

This is the Christmas Season of warm, clothing, hot chocolate, winter sports and most important - good conversation.

It is a time to renew our relationship with God, and one another, as the cold weather calls us indoors to one another.

Bless all people to whom winter is a time of great stress, and may Your Love, Lord, enfold them and give them hope.

In the midst of this cold morning, may each one of us pause for a moment to give thanks to God for the gift of snow, which covers our city like a blanket, to cleanse, purify, and renew our world.
