ALL GOOD THINGS
HEARTS
GOODBYE
IF WE LIVE TO BLESS OTHERS
KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS
LOVE PAID IT ALL
All good things come from God
no matter what men say
the kindly word
the tender deed
the yearning when we pray
All good things come from God
even though times are tough
courage and strength
hope and joy
the peace that comes
thru love
All good things come thru God
He speaks to us today
the thoughts of love
the friendly hugs
are prompted
when we pray

It's not easy to love the ungrateful heart
That grabs with a greedy hand,
Nor easy to love a corrupt, cruel heart
That brings grief to its fellowman.
The heart that shows by its evil deeds
A selfish, lustful trait,
Is often despised by the rest of us
And left to its destined fate.
Shall we look within, though we may seem good,
At our heart's deceptive ways,
Then take a look at the heart of Christ--
In our own, let His pure light blaze?
When we see our hearts as they really are
And our Saviour's in contrast,
Then we'll love those who need our love,
For we'll understand at last.

The Kansas sky I've never seen
With its endless horizon and beckoning winds
Must shine a strange shade of love tonight.
Human eyes cannot see
The awesome rift in eternity
As the shoeless lift their songs to You.
And the needy with their sins,
The church in all its mourning might,
Cries.
The tears, though ancient as the fall
And gathered at the gracious cross
Fall fresh upon these days of loss...
Coming so close to heaven's gates
That time stands still,
Hearts stand still.
And the mist moves in the prairies
The rocks resound in harmony
As saints in heaven and earth adore Him.
Here,
In our weakened worship, in our shaking hands,
In our desperation and despair
He comes.
We meet the Christ acquainted with grief,
We meet the Healer who suffers,
We meet the One we love.
And we release His servant,
to fly free into the mystery He dreamed of.
(for Rich Mullins, the inspirer of many dreams
and poems, an encourager in many lonely times,
a man who brought me closer to the living Lord)

Have sympathy for another who's hurting,
Empathize with the way that they feel,
Be free with your kindness and comfort,
And share your heartfelt ideals.
Be generous with those who may need you,
Give love where pure love is gone.
Tenderness and patience are needed,
And often a comforting song.
Sometimes you may be downhearted,
Or feel like the world is so cruel,
But if you'll rise and help others
And follow the old "golden rule,"
Life will be better by serving
The needs of your poor fellowman.
For blessings will attend those who follow
Such a wonderful, God-given plan.
You see, we were made to serve others,
To find our happiness there,
And if we live to bless others
In time we'll have our full share.

His eyes are on His children
Who struggle in this world.
He sees their every heartache,
When Satan's darts are hurled.
If their eyes are fixed on heaven,
Through faith they cling to Him,
He hears their prayers and groanings,
Their sorrow for their sin.
He understands their weakness,
And longs to give His grace,
To fill each need and longing,
In them His image trace.
This world has nothing for them,
For brief this life will be.
They keep their eyes on heaven,
Where they spend eternity.
While they look to Jesus,
Hope fills up each heart,
For they know He's coming,
And never will depart.
So those who look to Jesus,
While in this weary place,
Will shout for joy in heaven
When they see His loving face.

You say youve gone too far
And the life you want, you can never have
You say your friends have forsaken you
Cause of all that youve done wrong
But I know someone who loves you
Someone who is closer than a friend
For He knows your every thought and feeling
And He WILL be there at the days end
I hear you saying
There could not be anyone like this
But I know, there is
And even when you were in your sin
He died for you
He gave His all
He cried for you
He washed your sin with His blood
He loved you
His love paid it all
