The Lawrence Tech library houses a broad selection of books, periodicals, CD-ROMs, and microforms--everything from Web access and electronic journals to the 3,000-book collection of the renowned architect Albert Kahn.

The library also lets you extend your search for information far beyond the campus. Because of Lawrence Tech's membership in several cooperative groups, you can have direct access to materials at a number of nearby municipal and academic libraries. In addition, Lawrence Tech is part of a network of more then 6,000 libraries interconnected by computers for cooperation and sharing of resources.

To help you navigate through this wealth of information, the library is fully automated with a sophisticated on-line catalog and book check-out system. Access to this system is available from anywhere on campus, or from off-campus via dial-in links. The library's professional staff can also provide help in locating information, and offers individualized and group instructions in how to use the library efficiently.

The library is centrally located on the lower level of the Buell Management Building, and boasts an attractive garden area that offers year-round greenery.

Users may renew books over the phone at (248) 204-3000. have the books needing renewal with you as you must provide information from the book itself. IMPORTANT: Please renew all items ON or BEFORE the duedate.
