Big Girl

Shes not a little girl any more,
Shes certainly made that clear.
For goodness sake.. I am six or four!
Dont you know that Mama, dear?

Im big enough to reach the light,
In just about every room.
I get all ready for bed at night.
I even bring you the broom!

I brush my teeth every single day
And I wash my hands and face.
I dont go in the street when I play
And my shoes I try to lace!

I can jump from the top of the chair,
Way down and land on my feet!
Mama gets mad when she sees me there,
But she thinks Im kind of sweet..

My Daddy tells me Im really smart.
Yes sir, golly, Im no fool!
One of these days ago I did start
To go to my Sunday school.

To say shes not big will make a fuss,
So with her we all agree.
But shes still our little girl to us
And we know, shes only three!
