I Will Write It Well

My way of life is not the best,
Nor are my actions wise,
My thoughts are not like all the rest,
Bound by conventions ties.

But in my heart I am content,
To feel the way I do,
And work until my strength is spent,
Making old dreams come true.

There is a goal I must achieve,
Which never will grow dim,
My ideals I cannot deceive,
They rule my every whim.

Whether you may agree with me,
Or wonder what Ill gain,
I ask that you please try to see,
My desire will remain!

You may decide that I am strange,
For wasting so much time,
But none-the-less Ill only change
When words no longer rhyme.

Just let me be alone with pen,
While others join in play,
For I must try and try again,
Until I learn, one day.

Envy my courage to keep on,
Or say I might be great,
Mention my hope is never gone,
I have patience to wait.

But if you cannot think of me,
With talent at my call,
Then it is happy I will be
If you dont think at all!

For pity is unwelcome here,
Its one thing I dont need.
Please dont bring your sympathy near,
 It is an ugly weed!

My faith in life is yours to share,
I have enough to give.
So smile with me and feel no care,
About the way I live.

In truth my words will start to blend,
As of this world I tell,
So make each day a joy to spend,
And I will write it well!

Though readers may be hard to find,
To them my soul is willed,
If my words leave their fears behind
..My life has been fulfilled!
