Hallitube Referendum: Mandatory Colocation of Bus Stops and Stop Signs
You have been behind a city bus: First, it stopped to let passengers of,
stopping a huge line
of cars behind it. Right afterwards, it stops again, there is a stop sign.
These two processes
need to be combined. To inform drivers in the back that the bus may be waiting
slightly longer
than needed at the stop sign, a disembarkation light is lit at the back.
The front can use a
yield light so that the drivers in the intersection can proceed.
