I want to walk the earth with you
We would wipe the dusts
from each other 's soles
Together we remember
the truths we will witness
along the meandering road
Sing the melodies and chant the tales
Our voices will echo
through the wilderness where
even the birds will pause to listen
We will crawl in the darkness
while feeling each other's breathing
W e will search for that elusive light
And dance with our tired limbs
When we will find it creeping
Behind the boulders
that would not have been pushed
Without you to add to my strength
We will brave the precipice and the abyss
To search for the meaning
Of every bead, of every bud
Of every death and of every life
And when at times we find none
You will just pluck an elderweiss
That I will pin on my chest
And I will pick you a shell
That you will wear on your neck
And then everything is understood
Even if we do not
At the end of the day
We would lull each other to sleep
On a slab of rock or in a bed of soft moss
And when we open our eyes
We will see each other's faces
Bathed in the morning light
And then we are filled with the vigor
To sojourn again.
