OK, I watched a program on the mansion that said that it was one of the most scariest places. So naturally if I could I would go there. The lady was crazy, yes yes, I loved her. She kept building and building in fear of the spirits killed by the Winchester rifle. So it went for 30 some years. Building for 24 hours a day. |

Crazy things on/ around the house: |

On the second floor there is a window strait down to the first floor. |

Most of the stair cases had to be changed to only be 1 1/2 inch stairs because of Mrs. Winchester's bad arthritis. |

On the very back of the house, 2nd floor. There is a set of double doors to the outside. So if you were to run outside this door you would take around 12 foot drop. |

I only saw one but it probably had more stair cases that led to the ceiling. |

There was a stair case called a "Y stair case". on the second floor. I'll try to explain. Going strait, down 5 stairs then strait up 7 stairs your still on the second floor but 3 feet higher. But if you would turn right after the first 5 stairs then go down some stairs you'll end up in the kitchen of the first floor. I don't know you just gotta see it. |

Mrs. Winchester's seance room. This is where she would talk to the spirits, where they told her where to build next. Also she could spy on 2 of the kitchens. But those aren't the weird things. The weird thing is, is that there is 1 entrance to this room and 3 exits. Ha ha, yeah i love this chick. The exits: Where you came in. a large window that led to a kitchen below. And a cabinet that led to a closet in the next room. And why can't this be an entrance? Because on the other side there is no latch to open it. |
