How did Scrum get together?

Well, it all started off when Brian B. and Nathan asked me to be in a ska band. They said they were called Same Old Sideburns and had a couple songs. So I agreed and we played a little while, but never really got anywhere. After a controversial event took place during one of our practices, Same Old Sideburns was no more. Then one day Brian B. asked me to come over to his house and play around. So me and Nathan showed up and that was Scrum! We had 3 songs after 2 practices and felt we really had something. After writing 3 more songs and practicing on numerous occasions, we decided that a 2nd guitarist would be a nice thing to have. So, I asked my brother Brian if he wanted to be in Scrum. He accepted and that's how the fierce foursome got hooked up.

Who has Scrum played with?

Sunday Bliss, Equilibrium, Flip Top Box, The Skuggs, The Retreads, Lynyrd's Innards, Mary Tyler Morphine, Pinewood Derby, The Lynwoods, Rod, FYP, The Sissies, AC 3, Mock Orange, Beefcake, The Lillingtons, The Ataris and the Teen Idols.

Who writes the songs for Scrum?

Every member of Scrum writes songs, which is really awesome. Those songs are just pourin' in right now. If one member goes blank, the other 3 are busy writing other songs.

How many tapes does Scrum have?

At the moment, we have released 2 tapes and one CD. Our first was a demo tape with 7 songs and the other a full-length with 16 songs on it. Unfortunately, these are only available locally. We also have a full-length CD that has 15 songs on it. It was recorded at Outback Studios and was released last June.
