Greetings everyone. Thought I'd do an update for once......well, we have some
news from the Scrum camp here. First off, although we only have one tentative
show in the works, Brent and I have been writing like crazy! We now have three
new songs, we just have to get them down as a band. However, the big news is the
impending "Scrum 1999 -Mall Tour-" Now, it's not what you think. Although it would
be rockin' like Dokken to play a mall tour, a la Tiffany and New Kids on the Block, we
have something BETTER in mind. Over the Christmas break, the boys of Scrum will be
traveling to four malls in four days. Why you ask? In our ongoing quest to meet girls!
Cute girls! That's right. The boys of Scrum are still as single as ever. We will be
trying different cheesy pickup lines on random females and noting which ones work
the best. Expect a full journal broken down by day when we complete this "tour." If
more ladies would try to talk to us, we wouldn't have to do this! Of course, no one's
forcing us. It will be loads of fun, I'm sure of it! Until then, stay brutal!...or something.

Hi Scrumbags! I just wanted to let all of you know that we will not be playing
tomorrow's show at the Emerson. I guess it's due to a lack of communication, but
we are definitely not playing. The show is still going on if you would still like
to check out Project Bottlecap. Catch ya later.

really cool. A big thanks goes out to Heather Fitch for letting us play that show.
Also, our show on the 13th is in the Botsford/Swinford lounge. If you need directions,
mail us and we'll be more than happy to give them to you. It is FREE!!! What a deal!
We will be playing with Vision Up, Harakiri, and possibly The Undershirts! We hope to
see you there!

Hey scRumbags! Needless to say, last night's concert rocked! A lot of people showed
up and made it a memorable night. All the bands played awesome sets and it seemed like
the people really enjoyed it. Thanks to all who showed up...and we hope to see you again

What's up scRumscum?! We have a couple shows planned in the future that you should
check out. On November 5 we will be playing a benefit show at the Alexandria
Community Center with Fishers Net. All the proceeds from the concert will go to the
families of 2 high school students involved in a car accident. It will be a good concert
and should cost $5. Our show on October 22 will be at Stevie Ray's House of Wax and will
be with J.F.K, Vision Up, Buschle's Band, and The Skuggs. Needless to say, it is going
to be a SHOCKING concert!!! We have a few tricks up our sleeves, so I would advise you
come to that one also. I'll try to keep you updated on any new shows as they come
along. Later sk8ers!!!

Hello fellow scRumbags! Our show with the Ataris on the 2nd was cool. We opened
and there was a pretty good crowd there. Of course, as the night went on the
crowd got bigger. The Ataris played an awesome show and were really cool to
talk to afterwards. I hope we can play with them if they come back to Indiana.
Our next show will be on October 22 with many cool bands. You can check it out
on our shows page. I'm outta here!

What's up scRumBags?! I'm back from the dead and doing good! I get the ok to play
my guitar standing up on August 20th, so we'll be back to practicing on that date!
CD sales are still steady and new material is now being written. We should be back
to playing shows in about a month to a month and a half, so we'll see you then!
It's good to be back ScrumScum, I'm gone!

Hello scRumBags! Good news, and bad news. First, the bad news. Scrum will be taking
a couple months off this summer due to a back surgery that I must have. We are not
done playing, just taking a break. We'll be practicing like crazy while we are off
though! Now, the good news! The CDs, stickers, and posters will be in Thursday, so
if you want to order things, order away! They will be in by the time we receive your
money and we will ship it out as soon as we get it. I'm going to get some sounds on
the net any time now, so look for those soon also! I'm outta here!

Hello scRumBags! Last night rocked!!!! It was a great experience, not only did
we get to play, but we also got to see the Lillingtons and the Teen Idols! There were a lot
of people there and they all had a good time. A huge thanks goes out to Mike Retread
for putting us on the bill. The CD is being made as we speak and I believe it will be
available May 22. There's always a possibility that it will be earlier...but that date
is going to be our release show. I'll try and keep you updated as much as possible on
the progress of the CD. We have a couple more shows lined up, so things are going
great! I'm outta here!

What's up kids? The show last night went VERY nice!! There was a great turnout and
all the people there were really moving. We got some great compliments afterwards
that really left us with a warm feeling! :) (We even got to sign a girl's stomach!)
It was a night to be remembered! The artwork for the CD is just about done, so we
are looking for a May 7th release date right now. Of course, that could change any
minute, but this is what we are aiming for at the moment. We hope to see all of you
at the show in Muncie with the Teen Idols. It's gonna be a great show and it is a
very cheap price!

Hello you pop-punkers! Since the last update, our merchandise has taken a big step
in the RIGHT direction! First, the shirts are done and they are AWESOME!!! I'll
scan a picture of them and if our long-distance fans(I think we have some) would
like to buy one you will be able to. Also, we recorded our full-length CD yesterday.
We spend 10 1/2 hours at Outback Studios recording and mixing our first CD and
to say it came out great is an understatement. With the help of Steve Bloyd we were
able to put 15 songs on our CD due out in early May. I will keep you updated on the
progress of the CD, so check back often.
