	Guibu witnesses the scene and decides to wait before helping her and, through a good timing, extract some reward from her.
	But things do not go as planned. As he arrives, the priestess of Mizra, Farangis, had already dispatched the Lusitanians and she starts to go. He asks her to stop, and tries to woe her by his poetry, all to no avail. He learns that she is on a quest to help Prince Arslan and stop the Lusitanians, which he also hates because of their cultural hegemony, and of their ban of Pars stories and songs.
	Spellbound by her dark-haired beauty, by the way she sees right into his soul, Guibu offers her his loyalty and decides to join her cause to go find Prince Arslan, the boy she had been sworn to protect.
	At dawn the next day, up on Nimuruzu mountains, the Lusitanians see Arslan and his golden helmet. He calls to Karlan and asks why he betrayed the Kingdom of Pars.
	Karlan refuses to answer him, instead sending his men to fetch the Prince.
	At a sign from the Prince, Eram releases the dam, and the Lusitanians are caught in the flood...
	Just as Narcasse had planned.
	Karlan insults the Prince and his followers, and Darun challenges him, riding down to the traitor, through the waters.
	The Lusitanians take out their bows and aim for the Prince, but Farangis arrives, cutting them away and dispatching the remaining Lusitanians with the help of Guibu.
	Darun and Karlan, meanwhile, are caught in a deadly duel.
