MAIN CHARACTERS OF OVA3...
AND OUR STORY CONTINUES...
|
But Merlein, as he sees the Princess Irina, is taken with her at first
sight. It seems obvious that he just reconsidered his position.
She asks them to take her to Prince Hirumes, the man she loves, and that
she is looking for. |
|
He asks Qbad if he knows this Prince Hirumes that Irina had talked of.
The knight answers he does not, but knows a Lord named Sam who is working
for him. It seems that the Prince hides himself behind a Silver Mask.
We also learn that Qbad was on his way to Peshwald to join Prince Arslan's
army when he stopped by the port town where they met. |
|
In Peshwald, in a room full of Pars warriors, Guibu confronts Shapool's
brother, reminding him that he was the one who ended the Shogun's suffering. |
|
This brought upon a duel, until Farangis stopped them as Arslan entered.
Guibu explains that he is not like the others, because he is a commoner,
not a courtier, and that he is looked down on. |
|
He then decides to leave, saying goodbye to Arslan, then, just before leaving,
turns back to Farangis, making light of his leaving. She tells him that
if he wants to leave, he should go quickly. Before he changes his mind...
Or before she tries to stop him? |
|
Even though Arslan entreats him to stay, all Guibu can think of is that
he is like the wind, and that he must follow it whenever it blows. |
|
With one last look at Arslan, Guibu left. |
|
Arslan left to his own thoughts, look at the sky of that last night at
Peshwald, and muses on what made him a King. An accident of birth only,
but something he must accept, to become the best ruler he can.
That day, he hopes that Guibu will return, because he will be Royalty
he can trust, and that would give his life meaning. |
|
Jaswant sits down at Arslan's door to keep watch, but Zaravant arrives,
saying he will stay on this watch because he does not trust him. |
|
The next morning, Arslan's army leaves Peshwald on their way to Ekubatana. |
