And if we could ask them anything we wanted to… **anything**… what might we ask them? Of course we might ask them things like: What they think of our world today and if, viewing the present, they might alter anything in the past… specifically in their past? Would they significantly change what they did in their own lives or histories in light of today’s geo-political currents and trends? …
…well, yeah… we’d ask them all that stuff… ok… but, more importantly, we’d ask them: if low-key colors like grays and blues might be spiced up with strong, sharp accents of Siamese pink? And weather or not a set of woven blinds, silk draperies and bright orange vinyl floor tiles might give the greatest possible impact in addition to creating a new and vibrant color renaissance in the redecoration of both kitchen and boudoir alike! And…
If we were to set our three favorite MegaloMurderMuffins adrift somehow… someway… somewhere in the mid 1960’s, but armed with today’s wisdom, penchant for understatement, and compassionate hindsight, would it be ill-advised to send them on a road-trip in a neon pink-and-yellow Cadillac Eldorado to the Sands to watch Frank and Dino toss back round after round between intermittent bouts of stumbling and shoo-bee-doodling at dazed, horn-rimmed-bespectacled, cigarrested, post-menstrual, slot-junkies…? But enough and away with all 21st Century discretion!! Our mission is to resurrect the glorious excesses of the past! After all, it’s plain to see that in our hyper-hyphenated Global-American fast-food give-me-constant-convenient-microwaveable-so-I-don’t-have-to-wait-entertainment-RIGHT-NOW heritage, we find it impossible not to discover increasing precedents for the un-enduring lack of dispassionate rhetoric about the never-decreasing need for a return to style and elegance in our lives! <rimshot!> …
