The Weight of the World - A Long Day's Tango into Night

The sound sources used in the creation of this work are:

Contact mic’d trees in the wind, water pump and contact mic’d water pump, a bathroom fawcett (regular recording & contact mic’d), night birds, various sound snippets from tango and orchestral pieces, barrell cactus spines, rubbing and striking sticks and twigs.

The name and partial inspiration for the piece is taken from Peter Handke’s “The Weight of the World,” which text was also used in the artwork on the CD jewel case.
