These photographers are my very personal collection of treasures. In other words, I consider their photographs extraordinarily important, they have influenced me, and continue to do so. For me these photographers define Photography as Art.

I have intentionally excluded many well known photographers (for example, Annie Leibovitz, Herb Ritz) not because they are bad photographers, but because they do not quite achieve the highest level of originality, and vision which I call genius. It is also certain that I have missed many extraordinary photographers because I simply do not know about them and never had a chance to see their work.
