swollen within our selves

nonexistent innocence denied and so clean
a shadow of discontent poisons our souls
raping our childhood's embodied foes
a pale touch of leprosy heals our scars
self crucified swollen in pain
i starve myself to make me strong
i cut myself to feel as one
embodiment of persecution to dampen our sorrow
hollow remanence of yesterday bereaved and borrowed
accustom to content in self denial
extremism accompanies death
self extermination to feel what's left
