Requirements for text format pages
 

A. Browser Requirements

To view the text format pages you have to use the Netscape Navigator. You may try to use Internet Explorer with the following menu option. Set
View > Encoding  toUser Defined

If this does not work well, use Netscape Navigator. To download Netscape Navigator please follow the link below :

B. Font Requirements

To be able to view the poems you need to use the Bidisha True Type font.

Installing instructions for Bidisha font.

1. Double click on the zip file that you have downloaded (bidisha.zip)- extract the files to the location c:\tempon your desktop

2. Open the Control Panel on your desktop and double click on the items Fonts

3. In the window that opens up, choose menu optionFile > Install New Fonts

4. In the windows that comes up, go to the folderc:\temp- the fonts to be installed are shown

5. Click Select All and press OK. The fonts are installed. Now you are ready to branch off to the Poetry Page. Just to make sure the the font installation has been successful check out whether you are able to view the following text :
