HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

This page is for the mothers I have known, I know I don't have a lot written here but it's my way of saying Happy Mother's Day and thank you.

My grandmothers both passed away in 1995, I wonder what they would have thought of the internet, as I wasn't online until about two and a half years later.  My mother doesn't know much about the internet yet but is interested, and I'm sure in time she will learn!

One thing I learned from my mother and both grandmothers is to never give up - they all taught me to be strong and independent, and for that I am very grateful!

My Mom

I like this picture of my Mom feeding her sheep!  She looks like she's having a good time!!  She has taught me a lot of things.  My Mother loves puzzles.   She also likes music, her flowers, and lots of other things - we are in the process of making her a web page where you will be able to read more about her!

My Grandmother

My Dad's Mother was a very outgoing person.  She loved to go out visiting.  She also enjoyed talking on the telephone and watching her television.  She taught me how to embroider.  She loved pretty things and collected knick knacks.  She liked to have her shoes match her purse (I did not inherit this trait!).  She also enjoyed cooking.

My Grandmother

My Mom's Mother was a very active person.  We spent many happy hours together. I learned a lot of things from her, she taught me about flowers, how things were when she was growing up, to drink coffee, etc.  She also loved birds, especially cardinals.  I also have her middle name.  And yes, for those of you who know me well, she was the one who taught me the two definitions of "onery"!!!!
