That you could never leave me, no way, never
I cannot understand these words you tell me now
Unable to fathom being without you, how?
Our love was surely meant to be
Always, forever, is what you said to me
Now in your mind you have uncertainty
That all you want from me is to set you free
This I will do Love, for you are my heart
I wish you could see how badly it is torn apart
Love, everlasting, is what I thought we had
You have taken that away, eternally I will be sad
I wish somehow I could convince you to stay
But alas you have already drifted away
You stole away like a thief late one night
Saying we can still be friends, yeah right
Living with this pain how will I endure
After having this love that seemed so pure
I loved you no matter the cost
