![]() Short Bio
Konstantin Popdimitrov is a career exhibiting artist and art educator, descendant of the century-old tradition of Auguste Rodin's school of sculpture. He earned his two MFA degree equivalents in fine and applied arts at the University Paris VIII Saint Denis in Paris, France and the Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. His wide range of creations in Europe and the U.S. includes numerous 3-D and 2-D government and private commissions- monumental and studio scullptures, murals, interior and exterior design solutions, paintings, portraits, as well as solo and group exhibits. He has taught drawing, painting, sculpture, and ceramics for over fifteen years. His solid classical "rennaissance" education complemented by his encounters with different cultures and art movements in Europe and the U.S., enables him to lead his students from the basic steps of art to mastery.
