Top left: A purported NSDAP badge; note the absurd inscription and the "Blue Max" style cross. The disc is marked BRESLAU with a serial number.

Top right: An unknown-purpose badge with a very poorly designed inscription; the disc marked BERLIN 1939 on the obverse, and SS (in regular letters, not the runes!) on the reverse.

Bottom: A poor imitation of the Iron Cross breast badge, the disc marked BERLIN with a serial number.

Two heavy-cast Nazi eagles of unknown purpose; the top one measures over 3 3/4" across, and is stamped "Wolfschanze"(the name of Hitler's HQ in East Prussia!) on the back. The bottom one, over 4" across, bears no markings. Note the clumsy proportions, poorly made pins, and the uncertain purpose (cap or breast badges?)

Another frequently seen Nazi fantasy piece, which I don't have at hand to illustrate, is based on the tank assault award, except it is much larger and the eagle on top is replaced by a skull. This ridiculous ornament is often peddled as the "SS tank commander badge".
