The Trouble With Multiculturalism by Lawrence K. Freeman For most of 1993, the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith (ADL) was under federal investigation for illegal spying against Arab, African-American, and other political groups, including the association connected with Lyndon LaRouche. The same organization which bought a sweetheart deal to avoid prosecution has also been destroying your children's minds, through the ADL's ``A World of Difference'' program, which has been operating throughout the country's public schools since 1985. The ADL has been promoting various racist-multiculturalist programs, which, along with the current Outcome-Based Education (OBE), have produced a generation of immoral, uneducated, and dysfunctional youth. Unless we wish to allow our children--who are our future--to be turned into slave labor for a post- industrial new Dark Age, these programs must be stopped immediately. To fully understand how dangerous and destructive these programs are to the mental and moral development of our children, we must carefully examine their underlying assumptions about the individual and his or her relationship to the development of the human race as a whole. `A World of Difference' Let us begin with quotes from the {Anti-Defamation League's `A World of Difference' Training Program To Combat Prejudice and Discrimination in the Classroom} and other publications. From { {To Combat Prejudice....}: ``In 1985, the ADL created a campaign designed to educate both children and adults by building on a simple concept: that differences are what America is all about.... The ADL is committed to providing materials and strategies that allow `hands-on' opportunities to discuss and think about issues of diversity.'' ``METHODOLOGY-Self-Examination Exercise: to provide participants the opportunity to define themselves based on their background, ethnicity, or other cultural factors, and to discuss related experiences.'' From the ADL's {Curriculum Guidelines for Multiethnic Education}: ``An ethnic group is a specific kind of cultural group which has all of the following characteristics: ``a. Its origins preceded the creation of a nation-state or were external to the nation state; ``c. It has an ancestral tradition and its members share a sense of peoplehood and an interdependence of fate.'' ``1. Ethnic diversity should be recognized and respected at the individual, group, and societal levels.... ``Ethnic diversity is a social reality all too frequently ignored by educational institutions, yet it deserves open recognition. Ethnic groups often have different world views, values, traditions, and practices.... ``School practices and programs must not emphasize the sins and virtues of any groups, but should teach accurate, valid accounts of our past and present from the perspectives of different ethnic and racial groups.... ``To gain more complete understanding of both our past and present, students should look at events and situations from the perspectives of Anglo-Americans and from the perspectives of people who are Jewish American, Polish American, Philippino American, and Puerto Rican American. This approach to teaching is more likely to make our students less ethnocentric and more able to accept the fact that almost any event or situation can be legitimately looked at from many perspectives. When using this approach in the classroom, the teacher should avoid, as much as possible, labeling any perspective as `right' or `wrong. ' Rather, the teacher should try to help students to understand how each group may view a situation differently and why.'' The Individual and Natural Law If the ADL's ``A World of Difference'' curriculum guidelines as reported in part above sound acceptable to you, if you are not totally offended and outraged by them, this is a sign that you are suffering morally and mentally from the effects of the counterculture paradigm shift that has infected our society over the last 30 years. How can any thinking human being accept such nonsense? Human beings are not fundamentally defined by their ethnic backgrounds, peoplehood, or interdependence of fate. The human race is not a ``zoological'' collection of different animals, with different ``creature'' characteristics and needs. History proves to us that, there are more and less advanced societies as well as right and wrong forms of social behavior, that do or do not lead to the durable survival of the human species. It is not up to one's perspective. There is a criteria to judge right from wrong and good from evil. Natural Law, which is universal, demonstrates to us that each individual life is sacred, because each human being is created in the image of the Creator-{imago Dei}, endowed with the ``divine spark'' of reason. This is what absolutely separates the human species from the animal world, where there are numerous species and subspecies distinctions. It is through the powers of creative reason that man demonstrates his uniqueness by transforming the mode of human existence, so as to be able to sustain economically a qualitatively rising standard of living for an expanding population. What distinguishes the human race on the most profound level is the power to create new ``revolutionary ideas''--discoveries, which overturn the previous axioms of thought. These ``revolutionary ideas'' allow mankind as a whole to make nonlinear ``leaps'' in its physical- economic power to increase its population density. The ability for each individual to act in this uniquely human way exists as an innate potential in every human being, because only men and women are created in the image of the Creator-{imago Dei}. The birth of each new child created in the image of God proceeds from the institution of the family, consisting of a husband, wife, and children. With the proper love provided by the family, the child has the potential to develop and mature into a morally responsible member of society. This of course is greatly aided by a classical public school curriculum dedicated to developing the cognitive powers of the growing child's mind. The sovereign nation-state is absolutely necessary for the development and protection of a society based on the sacredness of the individual and family. A nation-state must be committed to nurturing the potential of each and every citizen and to maximizing the contributions of every individual for the well being of the society. Thus, Natural Law, through the nation- state, affords the individual the potential for a true identity, not as a member of one of several so-called races or cultures each with its own special ethnic-fate, but as a sovereign personality who finds his true self-interest and identity in the full historic span of the evolution of modern man. In this way the sovereign individual participates in the past, present, and future of the human race in its unified existence. Since there is only {one} Creator, and we are all as human beings created in His image, there is only one human culture and one human race. To propose that there is more than one universal human culture would be to suggest that there is more than one Creator. Thus, multiculturalism in effect proposes a Pantheon of Gods, a pagan belief structure, opposed to the fundamental tenents of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. Mutliculturalism represents in effect a twisted ideology, that denies Natural Law, and attempts to construct a false history of the human race based on a so-called ethnic perspective. In effect multicultralism bestializes the notion of mankind by creating a ``human zoo'' of ethnic subspecies, thus attempting to blur the absolute distinction between the human race and the animal world. Who Is Causing Racism? It is the ADL's ``A World of Difference'' and multiculturalism programs, with all of their many ``ethnic centrisms,'' which are promoting racism throughout the United States. It is no coincidence that the ADL is shipping its ``A World of Difference'' to Germany to help spread anti-Semitism in the midst of the rise of ADL-sponsored neo-Nazi hate groups. These programs attack the very essence of human existence--creative thought--by brainwashing young children into believing that they are all different from each other because of their different backgrounds, languages, and skin colors. Accentuating these so- called differences at an early age and continuing to do so through (over-priced) college courses, denies our youth their proper human identity. They become almost hopelessly brainwashed into believing that there is more than one human race, with more than one universal-moral-scientific criterion to measure its progress. They come to believe that there are language-cultural lineages which have historically developed along different pathways. But the human race is singularly an indivisible whole, both biologically and in the inherent potential for each and every individual to contribute to the whole of humanity through his creative powers of reason.@s1 Friedrich Schiller, the great poet, playwright, and historian of the early eighteenth century, rigorously and beautifully captures the progress of the human race as a continuous single unity, in his essay ``Universal History.'' Schiller writes: ``All preceding ages, without knowing it or aiming at it, have striven to bring about our human century. Ours are the treasures which diligence and genius, reason, and experience, have finally brought home in the long age of the world.... A noble desire must glow in us to also make contributions out of {our means} to this bequest of truth, morality, and freedom which we received from the world past, and which we must surrender once more, richly enlarged, to the world to come, and in this eternal chain which winds itself through all human generations, to make firm our ephemeral existence.'' As Schiller correctly emphasizes, it is through our individual contributions to the whole--the one human race, and not to any lesser division or alleged race--that we locate our deepest sense of human identity. If our schools and colleges do not educate from this fundamental understanding of Natural Law, then our children are being deliberately lied to, which will not only undermine their ability to learn at an early and impressionable age, but will lead to increased irrationalism and racism as they get older. Bernal's Anti-Black Athena The leading edge of multiculturalist studies today is Afrocentrism. Martin Bernal, the well-known Afrocentric scholar, begins his book, {Black Athena,} with the false premise that modern history has been a battle between what he calls the European or Aryan Greek model versus the Ancient Asiatic, portraying Greek culture as a mere extension of Egyptian and Semitic influences, which makes no unique contributions of its own. Bernal, like other Afrocentrist scholars, does not hide his dislike for Plato and attempts to portray Plato's ideas as an appendage of the Egyptian priests' caste system. Bernal asserts that Egyptian religion, dominated by the Isis/Horace/Osirus pagan mythology, in its collapse became the source for Hermeticism, neo-Platonism, and Gnosticism. He alleges that the fifteenth-century Golden Renaissance draws its image of man ``as the measure of all things'' from the first two, displaying his contempt for the accomplishments of the great Italian Renaissance, which elevated mankind from its bestial existence during the Dark Ages to the image of man as { imago Dei.}@2 Displaying his own pagan, anti-Christian prejudice, Bernal asserts--incorrectly--that the fifteenth- century Renaissance was concerned with oriental mystery and pagan antiquity, and ``looked behind Christianity to Rome, behind Rome to Greece and behind Greece to Egypt.'' Whether Bernal knows it or not, he has ended up ``in bed'' with the most ardent racists, by his tracing speculative freemasonry back to what he says are its Egyptian roots. He claims the freemasons, following the Rosicrucians, were the dominant intellectual force in the eighteenth century, which based itself on the Egyptian priesthood. Bernal lays bare his thesis in the conclusion of his first volume of {Black Athena}: ``I went on to show [that] at the beginning of the eighteenth century the threat of Egyptian philosophy to Christianity became acute. The Freemasons, who made much use of the image of Egyptian wisdom, were at the centre of the Enlightenment in its attack on Christian order. And it was in opposition to this eighteenth century notion of `reason' on the part of the Egyptophiles that the Greek ideal of sentiment and artistic perfection was developed. Further, the development of Europeancentrism and racism, with the colonial expansion over the same period, led to the fallacy that only people who lived in temperate climates-- that is, Europeans--could really think. Thus the ancient Egyptians, who--though their color was uncertain--lived in Africa, lost their position as philosophers.'' But, who were and still are the racists created by the British oligarchy? Who has fostered the most vicious and deadly forms of racism here in the United States? It is no other than the Egypt- rooted freemasons that Mr. Bernal so profusely worships. It is thoroughly documented that not only are the Scottish Rite Freemasons, out-and-out Satan worshippers opposed to all three monotheistic religions and who reject the perfection of man in the search for truth. But it was the freemasons who {created the Ku Klux Klan.} In the United States, it was the racist KKK which killed and persecuted without cause untold numbers of African- Americans. It was the Ku Klux Klan and its sister Jewish Lodge-- the B'nai B'rith--which later joined the ADL, both spawned by the Scottish Rite Freemasons, who were active arms of the insurrection against President Lincoln and the Union, led by Confederate General and KKK founder Albert Pike.@s3 How ironic it is for one of the leading Afrocentrists to praise the Freemasons, precisely because he claims their heritage can be traced back to Egypt, Africa, when that is the very organization responsible for the most unbridled practices of racism against Afro-Americans in this country. Also consider, that it is the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith, another offspring of freemasonry, which is promoting the ``A World of Difference'' course, along with various racist multiculturalist programs. It is time to honestly acknowledge that it is freemasonry with its degraded, bestial view of man that is behind the destructive and deliberate miseducation of our youth. The real crime is that parents allow their children to be brainwashed in this racist ideology, instead of insisting that their minds be developed in accordance with moral-scientific laws of the universe, that are reflected in the successful development of the human race as a whole. Egypt's Priests: The Original Freemasons? A similar, although not identical theme to that of Bernal is popularized in {The Stolen Legacy} by George James. James states that modern Masonic lodges are directly copied from the Egyptian temples and likewise that Egyptian Mystery System (EMS), known only to the inner circle of Egyptian priests, is the root of freemasonry. According to James, the object of the EMS was ``the deification of man,'' as the precursor to Christianity. James believes that the Egyptian Grand Lodge existed some 5,000 years ago on the banks of the Nile and is the mother of all of today's masonic lodges. The Egyptian priests used magic formulas and instructions, numerical and geometrical symbolism, hypnosis, and prophecy to control the population. This so-called secret knowledge of the EMS was never written down and therefore cannot be studied or scrutinized in any intelligent way. According to James, this ``secret knowledge'' of the EMS was communicated only verbally to the followers of the priesthood, and was the source of what was later taught by the Greeks. James accuses the Greeks of stealing and plagiarizing from the Egyptian priests, since, according to James, ``the Greeks showed no creative powers and were unable to improve upon the knowledge they had received from the Egyptians.'' While it is impossible to know precisely what this Egyptian Mystery System actually espoused, it is nonetheless perfectly clear that modern freemasonry is built on the same foundation of secrecy and mysticism. This has led to modern-day freemasonry, a Satanic belief structure, which rejects the idea that each sovereign human being is born with the potential to know and participate in the past, present, and future of mankind's existence, because each person is created in the image of God. So, James, like Bernal, finds himself supporting the Scottish Rite Freemasons, the ``mother'' of the Ku Klux Klan and the B'nai B'rith, who have been the strongest promoters of institutional racism in the U.S.A. since the early 1800s. Why the Greeks Are Maligned James, like many other Afrocentrists, accuses the Greeks of stealing everything they know from the Egyptians, through the invasion by Alexander the Great and Aristotle's securing the Egyptian secret knowledge by plundering the royal library at Alexandria. It is unclear that Aristotle was ever in Alexandria, and it is even less clear that Aristotle knew how to read and translate Egyptian hieroglyphics. The core of the fraud by Bernal, James et al., is their refusal to accept the scientific contributions of Plato and Socrates to the advancement of knowledge. Beyond any advancement in any particular branch of knowledge by Plato's Academy, it was the Platonic-Socratic (not Aristotelian) method of {hypothesis} , which was the greatest breakthrough for civilization up till that point. There is no denial by Plato, that leading Greek scholars learned a great deal from the Egyptians, as is the natural and proper course of the development of ideas among thinking people. But the hysterical denial of unique contributions by leading Greeks, standing on the shoulders of the Egyptians, is an attempt to rewrite history and prevent students from learning the real history of ideas. The core of the Afrocentrist assertion that Greeks merely stole knowledge from the Egyptians is an artificial concoction to prove Egypt, Africa is the fundamental source of knowledge and not the so-called European Caucasians. This bit of fakery is used by James to try to establish that Africans and blacks are superior to Europeans and whites since Egypt was populated by ``dark-skinned'' African people. While it is true that there were ``dark-skinned'' Egyptians, that is not to stay that all ``dark-skinned'' people have the Negroid features associated with African Americans today or with the Nubian population of Kush located to the south of Egypt. However, any information concerning what might have actually happened historically is irrelevant to the central point that James wishes to make for the sake of his Afrocentrist ideology. For James, this is a ``black versus white, Europe versus Africa'' division, and for him it is paramount that the so-called black African race is on top. He discusses the issue as follows in the final chapter of {Stolen Legacy}: ``Now that it has been shown that philosophy, and the arts and sciences were bequeathed to civilization by the people of North Africa and not by the people of Greece; the pendulum of pride and honor is due to shift from the people of Greece to the people of the African continent who are the rightful heirs of such praise and honor. ``This is going to mean a tremendous change in world opinion and attitude, for all people and races who accept the new philosophy of African redemption.... [T]he truth that the Greeks were not the authors of Greek philosophy; but the people of North Africa; would change their opinion from one of disrespect for Black people throughout the world and treat them accordingly. ``It is going to mean a most important change in the mentality of the Black people: a change from an inferiority complex, to the realization and consciousness of their equality with all other great peoples of the world, who have built great civilizations. With this change in the mentality of Black and White people, great changes are also expected in their respective attitudes towards each other, and in society as a whole.'' The Inalienable Rights of Mankind The paragraph cited above demonstrates James's complete failure to understand that the inalienable rights of all human beings are guaranteed and derived from Natural Law, not skin color. We do not achieve respect or importance by tracing our biological blood lines or physical characteristics back thousands of years to an alleged noble or superior race. That is {racism,} pure and simple. Instead, we should understand that all human beings are created equal in their potential to develop their own power of creative reason. It is a crime against all of humanity, to deny any individual his inalienable rights. Until society accords every individual these fundamental rights, along with the dignity he deserves precisely because he is a member of the human race, our fight for true freedom must continue. One of the greatest crimes committed especially against young African Americans is that they have been robbed of their real identity. They have been deprived of the right to be respected as important and essential members of the human race and have their minds valued for the potential contributions they can make to society. This is criminal. But manipulating history to promote one's so-called race against another is dangerous, wrong, and racist. Furthermore, it will undermine one's ability to locate one's {true} identity as a unique creative human being, a {microcosm} in the service of the totality of the progressive development of the human race, the {macrocosm}. If we are committed to reversing the wrongs done, then let us give people their real identity, not a phony British-created multiculturalist one. People living in Africa, as well as African-Americans, have the same {inalienable rights} to the most advanced levels of economic and cultural existence--regardless of one's country, skin color, language, and historical lineage. Lyndon LaRouche in a conversation from prison last year makes the point regarding the right for Africans to have economic development: ``The idea of trying to get a separate culture, I think is the problem. What is needed, is you have people in Africa, as we see, who have a need and a right for certain things for their own sovereign states; and they should have the right to the access to these things for their sovereign states, such as development of infrastructure, without which there will be nothing but misery throughout Africa. Without railroads, without power plants, without improvement of navigable rivers, canals, and roads, there is no possibility for Africa. Without schools, which teach the transmission of true knowledge throughout history, so that the child in each case has a grasp of the knowledge of all mankind, the child is inadequately developed. They are crippled. They cannot cope with the world around them.. .. ``The question is of justice for and dignity for the individual African, which requires institutions of family and self government, which can assure that kind of protection, that development.'' Afrocentrism Invades Baltimore The Baltimore city school system has taken the lead in forcing through an Afrocentric curriculum, supervised by a paid consultant, Dr. Molefi Kete Asante of Temple University. The Baltimore city schools advertise their new program in a brochure entitled ``Multicultural Education'' whose stated goal ``is to develop and maintain a curriculum that is multicultural where the content, culture and contributions of all ethnicities are valued {without hierarchy}''(emphasis added). In discussions with members of the Maryland state task force on multicultural education, Dr. Asante has asserted that ``the African-American child should be made to feel ownership of the information.... Afrocentricity really means ... connecting the child to the content.'' Echoing the OBE ``I can't learn unless I feel good'' mentality that is taking over the nation's public schools, Dr. Asante demands for the African-American child the equivalent of what he calls the European ``white self-esteem curriculum.'' Asante claims that a child cannot learn, if the material taught is not part of his particular background or experience. This leads to a dangerous line of thought, which was highlighted by a Baltimore County assistant superintendent of schools who absurdly stated, ``We know for a fact that so much of history has been distorted that it is very difficult to determine what is true. Our responsibility is to present it all and let the children sort it out.'' This brings us back again to the incompetent notion that there is more than one standard of truth from which to judge the evolutionary development of the human race and teachers should not try to teach a single truth, but leave it up to the children themselves to decide. So knowledge, and learning, which should be primarily concerned with stimulating the child's cognitive powers are now being replaced by relativism, ethnic information, and mere facts from which the child chooses, depending on which is most ``relevant'' to his background and makes him ``feel good'' about it. The history of human civilization proves conclusively, that all leaps forward in mankind's existence, measured by increases in actual and potential population density, were preceded by a Renaissance of new and profound ideas.@s4 It was as a result of man's increased scientific understanding of the lawfulness of the universe, which flowed from the Italian Renaissance of the fifteenth century, that our planet experienced its greatest increase in population density. Yes, this Renaissance took place in Europe, but only by standing on the shoulders of previous periods of similar intellectual fervor, such as the Islamic Renaissance of 700-1000 AD. Only the most irrational, brainwashed victims of multiculturalism would insist that this is an exclusively European accomplishment, when in fact its benefits have radiated across the globe over the last 500 years. The scientific breakthroughs of the Golden Renaissance do not belong to any one group of people, but are the property of every human being, because they belong to the {one} human species. It is oligarchical-racist institutions such as the World Wide Fund for Nature, the United Nations, et al., which have sought to prevent all countries from sharing in the benefits of new technological advances. All discoveries, whether they be in science, art, music, or economics, that advance the frontiers of human knowledge and lead to an increase in man's economic development belong to everyone and should be taught to every child, and are relevant to all people regardless of their particular backgrounds. There is a rich history of accomplishments by African-Americans, dating back to the War of Independence, covering every field of knowledge and human activity, which is the property of all us and every student has the right to know. Everyone should be familiar with the accomplishments of Frederick Douglass, W.E.B. DuBois, Booker T. Washington, Benjamin Banneker, Dr. Charles Drew, Marian Anderson, Harriet Ross Tubman--to name but a few. Any attempt to limit or restrict a child's knowledge to the ``relevance or experience'' of one's skin color is racist and mind destructive. Dr. Asante, in his book {The Afrocentric Idea}, asserts that Afrocentricity ``means literally, placing African ideals at the center of any analysis that involves African culture and behavior.'' Dr. Asante sees his work as ``a radical critique of Eurocentric ideology that masquerades as a universal view in the fields of intercultural communication, rhetoric, philosophy, linguistics, psychology, education, anthropology, and history.'' He praises the Frankfurt School which was created in the 1920s by communists to carry out the destruction of Western Judaeo- Christian civilization from within, in a way communism was incapable of doing from the outside,@s5 but complains that Herbert Marcuse, Theodor Adorno, Max Horkheimer, and others were still carrying out their criticism within the ``Eurocentric Family.'' Dr. Asante either intentionally, or by an extraordinary degree of ignorance, praises the deconstructionist Jacques Derrida, Karl Marx, Sigmund Freud, and the already mentioned leaders of the Frankfurt School as the best of what he calls Eurocentric, white male culture, when in fact they represent a degenerate anti-human collection of fascists and communists deployed to destroy human civilization as we know it. Dr. Asante deliberately omits from his critique of so-called Eurocentric thought those revolutionary scientific discoveries which have made possible great technological leaps forward for our global population. In fact, Dr. Asante despises science and scientific thinking as products of Eurocentrism. It is for this reason he deliberately praises the anti-scientifc, anti-Western schools of thought mentioned above. For him, Afrocentricity is an escape into the world of feelings, emotions, magic, and myth- making, which he projects (falsely) as the unique properties of people from Africa. This degrading view of Africans, and by implication African-Americans, is part of Dr. Asante's claim that Afrocentricity worships the mystical qualities of the irrational-pagan Earth Mother known as Gaia or in Egyptian mythology, Isis. He alludes to this in describing the effectiveness of African-American speakers: ``Akin to the suffering genre is the suckling genre, mainly (but not entirely) identified with Mother-Earth, which relates everything to the motif of caring. We care for the world not just for our own children, and in our own myth the suckling mother is a multimammarian who gives milk to all, equally.'' Afrocentricity Aids Oligarchism Proponents of Afrocentricity like Dr. Asante, whether they are completely conscious of their role or not, are directly aiding those oligarchical elite families which are responsible for the oppression of African-Americans. Some may object that this is an unfair and outrageous claim by this writer, but it is the truth. If an individual is deprived of the means to develop his powers of creation in the image of God, he is threatened with the loss of what is most precious for his human identity and the only quality of his human existence which allows him to participate with the past and future of civilization. Any ideology, myth, or culture which undermines or degrades the nurturing of that potential for creative thought is fundamentally an anti-human culture. When Dr. Asante and other Afrocentrists, deny this fundamental quality and put forward a lesser view of what is the essence of our humanity, they are aiding the enemy of those they espouse to defend. This is precisely what Dr. Asante is doing when he falsely counterposes the Afrocentric notion of man in a mystical- collective harmony with the universe to the so-called logical- positivist thinking of the West. What is lost, when one is forced to choose between these two erroneous belief structures, is the quality of creative thinking identified with the notion of scientific hypothesis. To see how degraded Dr. Asante's view of African-Americans is, one should review the final pages of the concluding chapter of his book {The Afrocentric Idea.} Dr. Asante stoops low, by reaching into the realm of professional sports, to locate the Afro-American's harmony with the universe. ``It is the direct search for harmony that is at the base of African-American spirituality. We seek it everywhere and all the time, and then there are those moments when it bursts full blown into our souls and we take wings and fly for awhile. The graceful basketball player, who moves in tune to the rhythms of the game in just such a way as to bring his body in harmony with the particular moment of decision on the court, is in search of the experience. The football player who eludes several other players in his quest to make a touchdown ... one must do it in such a manner that harmony is served.'' Dr. Asante also finds this special experience of harmony- transcendence in the irrationalism of jazz. Jazz, he writes, depends ``on the incessant collective drive of a people in harmony with self, fellow earthlings, and nature.'' He quotes from the famous jazz and concert musician Wynton Marsalis: ``Jazz is something Negroes {invented} and it said the most profound things not only about us and the way we look at things, but about what modern democratic life is really about. It is the nobility of the race put into sound; it is the sensuousness of romance in our dialect; it is the picture of people in all their glory, which is what swinging is.'' This denigrating and bestial view of African-Americans--that they can experience this special Afrocentric harmony in the unexpected spontaneous ``switch up'' of movements in sports and in jazz--is far more insidious than any ``Eurocentric, Caucasian male.'' Dr. Asante chooses to locate the qualities of harmony for African Americans in their ``unique'' emotional feeling-states, and their bodily movements, rather than in the power of their minds, where true harmony with the universe is found. That is racism, pure and simple. It is precisely the degraded image that the oligarchy wants to project onto the black population. The Fight Is Against Evil Conspicuously absent from the rhetoric of the various Afrocentrists and their related academic circles is the need to destroy those evil forces who are responsible for the oppression and exploitation of people of color everywhere on this globe. Nowhere in any of the ADL's ``A World of Difference'' programs are the racist British-based Scottish Rite Freemasons attacked. Not one single word is raised against the International Monetary Fund's genocidal policy which is murdering 100-200 million black Africans. While Afrocentrist writers drone on and on in their falsely composed attacks on so-called Eurocentrism, isn't odd that they are pathetically afraid to say one word against the evil financial establishment--the real murders and racists? Their silence is deafening. While American college campuses and now public schools are inundated with this racism, Sudan, Nigeria, Kenya, and other nations are in engaged in a life-and-death battle against the IMF and the monetarist-free trade fanatics for the survival of their countries. What about the genocidal programs being implemented right here in U.S. cities? Look at the hell holes of our urban centers, where the majority of the African-American population lives. Look at the infant mortality rates, the spread of AIDS, the deluge of drug-abuse, the homicide rate, the number of people living in poverty without enough food to eat. The brutality of living conditions is rapidly approaching those of the Third World. These cities are more like cages, where people treated like animals in turn become more animalistic and more homicidal. The only response from our elected officials, with the ghoulish support of the population, is to demand capital punishment and a speed-up of executions. This is not an objective problem. We have allowed our cities to be looted and destroyed by a financial elite in their effort to maintain a financial bubble of trillions of dollars of debt and speculative derivatives. These monetarist bloodsuckers are killing our citizens, which is beyond racism, at an accelerating rate in the inner cities. They are not Eurocentrist, they are anti-human. Our factories have been shut down, our vital infrastructure of roads, bridges, harbors, water processing, and power plants has deteriorated, while the people's material standard of living has been driven down, down, down. All of this is under the orders of the controllers of the ``financial markets,'' who demand that their debt bubble be maintained at the expense of the living conditions of the population. Could it be, that because the ADL and its multicultural curricula are funded by monetarist-junk bond swindlers like Michael Milken, that our real enemies are never mentioned? Why aren't the financial backers of these fraudulent multiculturalist- Afrocentrist programs, who are responsible for the vicious looting of our economic existence studied as the ``anti-human species'' they represent and exposed for their crimes? The hideous programs that are being implemented in our urban centers today, flow from an acceptance of axioms of neo- Malthusian population control, ushered in by the mid-1960s as part of an entire counter-cultural paradigm shift. It might be fashionable on campuses today to distort history and denounce the so-called Eurocentrism in the name of Afrocentrism, but racism and genocide will only end when the real enemy responsible for these polices is taken on--in political combat-- by all people who are concerned about human life. Of course, giving up this multiculutral-Afrocentric rhetoric and fighting those very powerful institutions and individuals who are responsible for the deplorable conditions and treatment of African-Americans can be quite dangerous. But as the saying goes, ``if you not willing to walk the walk,'' then one should at least get out of the way of those of us who are serious in fighting evil for the good of all people. May 7 (EIRNS)--DRUGS LEGALIZED IN COLOMBIA. Colombia's Constitutional Court declared unconstitutional laws against drug use in a ruling issued Thursday, according to the Associated Press. The ruling by the Constitutional Court ( which in certain respects is equivalent to the U.S. Supreme Court) legalizes possesion of cocaine and other drugs for personal use in Colombia, the world's main supplier of cocaine and site of a drug war that has killed thousands of people. President Cesar Gaviria said the ruling was ``absurd.'' The decision, says AP, ``puts Colombia on a collision course with Washington, which has accused the Bogota government of coddling drug traffickers.'' But, chief justice Carlos Arango said his court, ``does not interpret laws based on the opinion of the United States or the former Soviet Union.'' Supposedly, the production, trafficking and sale of drugs remains illegal. Colombia's Attorney General Gustavo de Greiff, an advocate of drug legalization, said he was not entirely pleased with the decision because legalization should not come piecemeal, country by country, but through an overall international agreement, reported the {New York Times} today. But, Kevin B. Zeese, vicepresident of the Drug Policy Foundation, a pro drug legalization Washington-based lobby, said that the decision proves that drug laws must be liberalized. ``The courts are stepping in and saying, `this is not working. There's go to be a better way',|'' he said, according to the Times. Colombia's court ruling comes less than two weeks after Germany's Federal Constitutional Court also legalized the importation and possession of marijuana and hashish for personal use in Germany.
