This is
my world, a place where imagination is the only limit. I
have tried to live my life by the motto Your life is what
you make it, and I have found that to be very true. You
will find many things on this site from many different
areas of interest. All of these make up what has over
time become the essence of me. One of these interests that came into my life at the age of 16 is the SCA or Society for Creative Anachronisms. This is an historical reenactment organization. Not unlike the Rennasaince Festivals, we spend weekends in the summer living as people did in medieval times. Each person chooses a persona and acts out this persona at events. Many people belong to households or clans, whcih are usually a group of friends or family. I am the Lady of my own household and my husband is the Lord. Our Household's name is The House Silver Feather of the Onyx Moon. I am also the captain of my own ship in Admiral don Miguel's Fleet. The area we live in has its own kingdom name which is Antir (British Columbia, Washington state,Idaho, and Oregon). The Shire we live in encompasses our county which is called Midhaven. |
Another one of my passions is Wicca, my personal faith. I am a self practicing wiccan, in the general sense of word wicca, this is as close as I come to a name for what I believe in. It would take way to much space to actually describe what I believe so I settle for this.lol.
I also dabble in Celtic History and the study of my Scottish ancestry. Somehow I see a pattern here, all of this kind of blends together dont you think?
Herbalism is also steadily weaving its way into the tapestry which is me.
