Found this graphic of Albert. His tongue was sticking out in the original but I decided to modify it. I also carved a bunch of little designs as my imagination got the best of me, perhaps just like Albert had happen to him often.
With my trusty Testor knife and the point of a pin (for the small paisley) I got busy. I like using the Nasco Safety Kut.l Firm yet very nice material.
I really like the rainbow pad with the blue/aqua/plum/deep fuschia. The colors seem to flow so well together.
I was hopoing to spend more time iwth my creative lettering skills but I ran out of time so I wrote the quote on each page by hand. Nto what I had hoped for, but the point is to focus on the carvings, right?
