Alptekin & Natalie

Here is Alptekin Balzade from Balzades. He is one of the best friends of Haluk from high school. Alptekin is the king of the printers ever in Istanbul, in Turkey even in the world.

I just remembered a funny memory.

He thinks he is a great drinker. He is the man. But hear this. I was in Antalya for a business trip in 1994. He was also there trying to gain Sheraton Voyager Hotel as a new butter customer. In the first evening we met on the harbor and with the fish drank raki. Than we went to a bar and started to drink tequila. After our 10th or 11th shot, Alptekin wanted to go to restroom. 15 minutes later the owner of the bar showed up and asked me if I knew the guy 4 meters behind me trying to go over the small decorative wooden bridge inside the bar to reach to the men's room. :-) After an hour or so he came back at last. I grabbed him and put in a taxi to send him to his hotel. He was the man!. The great tequila drinker.The next day he did not remember his long journey to the restroom and asked me to go for a drink again!

You know what, they came to visit us in Washington DC. They were on a wonderful diving vacation to Belize. DC was their last destination. We moved to DC after they planned their vacation. They were going to visit us in Dallas. But our relocation changed their plans too and they came to where ever we are. They are really one of our best friends. These photos were taken in Ada's 6th month party. We were eating Tex-Mex in Chillis.

They brought a tucan, which is the famous bird there, doll to Ada from Belize and an hand made wooden dolphin for us.
