Chapter 1: Greeting

et's get start it. If you are seeing this page, you probably are beginner
of French, or you just hang around here. In this chapter, I am not going
to say neither grammar nor complicated rules. I just show you several way to
greet in French. That's all. You can use them right now!

ronounciation is a very difficult topic. Especially on the web. I could put some
audio files to help you pronounciation. But I am not really good French speaker,
so I am not going to do this time. You may want to check out other sites that contains
the audio files. I put hyperlinks for those web site in left side of this page.
Notice those italic words. They are the words that help to know how to
pronounce French words. I hope those are helpful.

n French, there are two ways to say something; Formal and
Informal. As you guess, formal is for older people or respectful people and
informal is for friends or someone you know well. English also has something like this.
ex) hello and hi.
