- Weaver, spinner, dyer and fiber artist, who has completed courses in Color Theory, Warp Painting, Synthetic and Natural Dyes, and Spinning Silks.
- Member of Women in the Visual and Literary Arts, Past Program Chair for Contemporary Handweavers of Houston, Workshop Director for Tall Pines Weavers and Spinners, and a member of Federation of Fiber Artists in Texas and Houston. Travels extensively demonstrating fiber arts in schools and at festivals.
Education and Employment:
- Attended Oklahoma Baptist University majoring in business, and has been the owner of a lawn and landscape equipment business for 17 years.
- Presently employed at Rice University, Houston, Texas as a staff assistant in the Computer and Information Technology Institute.
- Has completed college courses in Design, Drawing, Watercolor, Color Composition, Painting I and II, Ceramics, Art Appreciation and Art History Survey I and II.
Attended Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN in August of 1999 studying under Dr. Carlos Ferguson of Ithaca University, Ithaca, N. Y.

- 1994: Juried into Gulf Coast Intercollegiate Competition, Houston, Texas, with the painting:
"Jesse's Root", 36 x 48 acrylic.
- 1997: Awarded Scholarship in juried competition held by Kingwood Art League, Houston, Texas,
with "Kiva", 28 x 34 acrylic painting.
- 1999: Juried into WIVLA collection opening at the Omni Hotel Cafi on the Green Art Gallery
