Screaming and crying
The sounds of people dying
Silently whispered
In the ear of Fate
She cuts the thread of life
Sometimes short
Sometimes long
Some will never understand.

Child of the Light

Wrapped in a cowl of light
Guiding through the darkness
Changed from dark
Decisions made,
And from darkness reborn
Protector of innocence
A friend to all and
Warrior to some
Enemies, he has none
But anger him and he will retaliate
Child of Dark he was
Child of Light now he is.

Into the Army of Light he enters
For many sorrows he has
To battle them he must go within.
In his mind he sees the truth
He comes to terms that he is of light and dark.

All are of light and dark
Some succumb to dark
And some raise to the light.

For ‘tis just a passing

Rejoice that I am free from pain

Dancing on the edge
watching the waves crash beneath
full silver moon lighting the way
dancing ‘round the fires
black hair loose and flying
bare feet stamping the pattern out
hands beating the drums faster and faster
twirling out and in

moving with your partner
hips thrusting out to him
impassioned, rushing in
becoming, moving with him
gypsy eyes flashing
red silk skirts billowing

hands together touching him
passionate ones
focused on him
following his lead
gasping faster
brutal anger lust
Passion…
dancing on the edge
watching the waves crash ‘neath.

Dreams

Dreaming once again
Not knowing what to do
Rainbows and nightmares
All in my head.
Light and dark
Love and hate
Can you ever really tell the difference
Shall I run or shall I stay?

Ebb and flow
the tide of passions

Through blood and life
