| Every body who was in the parade met in the park at the Botanic Gardens at around 2.30 - the parade was due to start at 4pm. It was not a very nice start from a weather point of view but this did not dampen anybodies enthusiasm. |  |

The bulk of the costumes were made by Catalyst, - without this group the carnival would have been a much less exciting affair. |
