Hmmm...well first of all, my name is Doreen for those of you that don't know. I'm 18, and I'm a full time stupid student, and ummm I work part time at this one place in Del Amo Mall. No doubt, I'm a candy expert =) ...hehehe...I bet you guys didn't know that Gummi Strawberries weren't really made of strawberry juice. They contain pear and pineapple juice. Isn't that interesting? Hehehe. Hmmm wanna know more? The Teeny Tiny Gummi Bears. It would take 10,000 Teeny Tiny Gummi Bears to equal the amount of calories of one single Milk Chocolate Covered Raisin...And I could go on forever and tell you even more interesting facts about candies, but then the purpose of this page is to tell you about me...not about candy. So, let me go on and tell you more about me, myself and I. I live down here in Southern California. Area Code 310 - Carson to be exact. I was born on the 11th day of November 1979 in this hospital called Letterman Army Medical Center somewhere in Presidio Military Base. Unfortunately, on the 29th of December 1988, the BRAC Commission recommended closure of the Presidio of San Francisco, including my amazing birth place, the Letterman Army Medical Center. hehehe...so I guess they closed my hospital down! But anyways, my mom said she named me after her worst enemy or something. Ewww. I guess that means she must not like me. =/ Anyways so I heard they were next-door neighbors n stuff. Well whatever...that's how I got my name. I thought they had named me after Doreen St. up in Vallejo, but uhhh I guess I thought wrong. And why am I telling you this? I don't know. Hmmm Doreen St....or was it Ave.? I heard old people lived in that street. Senior Citizens. That's what my aunt said. Okay, I know I know...off the topic again. So here goes. I'm 5'2. Yeah, go ahead and bag. So what if I'm short? Hehehe...better shut up foe I kick you with my 4-inch boots. Hahaha. But forealz though. I am short. Damn, my younger sister's taller than me. =/ That sucks. Hmmm. What else... I spend most of my free time online. Yup, that's what I look forward to every morning I wake up. There's this inner voice inside me that says "I want to get online...I want to get online...I NEED to get online!!" So anyways, I guess that makes me an AOL addict. And I won't deny it. I'm proud to be an AOL addict. Hehehe. But that was then. I don't really go into chat rooms anymore. I've made around 36573 friends (I'm lying...more like a couple hundred...hehehe) from AOL, IRC, ICQ, Yahoo Chat, Microsoft Chat, and Netmeeting...and I'm glad I met them all. Well online that is. I already met some of them in person...and I hope I get to meet the rest of the online bro's and sistas I still haven't met sometime in this life of mine...before I die. Hehehe. Oh yeah, just a word of advice: Don't let AOL take control of your life! Hahaha. That's one mistake I will never forget! I let AOL ruin my precious life! And I had everything planned out! Everything seemed so perfect! Until AOL became *UNLIMITED*. =/ See, that's when things started to change. I used to spend no more than a couple hours a week on AOL...I guess that's probably cuz it was ummm...what was it? $3.95 for each additional hour or somethin? Yeah, and I was afraid my mom would get pissed off if I exceed the monthly 5 hours. So yeah, that's how I managed to actually spend some free time offline. And now everything's a mess. =/ But then again maybe everything's changing for the better. Hehehe. Whatever. If you have kids, don't give them access to chat rooms. I'm serious! I used to stay up all night chatting with people. And let me tell you. Some may seem like they're nice and all online. But think again. You might regret meeting up with them. And I don't really know what I'm talking about. So I guess I should just go on and focus on the topic of this page. My Four One One. I've been playing the piano ever since i was 4. Well, 3 1/2. Yup, ain't that cool? Hehehe. Whatever... I still suck. Ummm I play tennis. Actually I don't really enjoy the sport, but my dad forced me to take tennis lessons n stuff. And I'm starting to like it I guess. Though I'm planning on quitting soon. But =X shhh! Hush it up! I still haven't told him. But I will soon... ;) ...Hmmm...I listen to different kinds of music. I hate you brother! Hehehe. Sooooooo where were we? Oh yeah. 411! Well well, what else is there to talk about...let's see...ummm I already told you where I was born....oh yeah, a couple years after I was born (I was 2 years old at the time...hehehe), we moved to P.I. and ummm so my mom ended up giving birth to my favorite younger sister Denise not long after we settled over there. We lived in P.I. for 3 years. And yes, that's how we learned the ever-so-wonderful language of tagalog. Hehehe...but anyways ummm I started school in P.I. wow. I'm so cool. Hehehe. Then, like I said, we moved back to Cali a couple years after Denise was born. We lived in Covina. And we (me, my bro, and my sis) ended up going to Lark Ellen Elementary School. Yuppperzz...my 1st - 3rd grade years. But then my dad decided to open a business in the city of Carson. So, duh, we had to move again. This time in an appartment in Torrance. And so we had to transfer schools (again!). Meyler Street Elementary School. Hmmm...I was here from 4th to 5th grade. And this is how I got started on my love of drill team. I was in 4th grade then. And since we always had nothin to do after school, me and my sister decided to join the bomb military drill team. Yay! We were the bomb. Yup. Although there were a couple second place trophies, we still were the best. Hehehe. But then we had to transfer to another school. I don't really know why we transfered for, but yeah...ummm we were still living in Torrance, but I guess since my dad's business was in Carson, they decided to transfer us outta Meyler Street to 232nd Place Elementary. I was so glad they had a drill team. Of course we joined their drill team n stuff. But then coach got pregnant and so she left us. =/ Now isn't that sad? Well anyways, after 232nd, we attended Stephen M. White JHS (7th - 9th grade). And guess what?! I was a member of their #1 drill team! WooHoo! Hehehe. Blahblahblah...then came the wonderful years of high school. Carson High...*sigh* Hehehe...wait...Oh no! I'm running out of time! I guess I'm going to have to go for now! I'll finish this later! Whoa. I'm late for work! Take carez and thanks for visiting my homepage =0) bye!
